I had the filet twice in the MDR on the Joy in August. Thought it was well worth the price of $15.

The filet was delicious!

I could not get reservations for Cagney, so it was a bonus for me at 15 bucks. Great deal.

It wasn’t there on my April Jewel cruise. I did utilize it on my August Joy cruise. A welcome addition for me. 15 bucks for a Carney’s filet! Well worth the money.

That’s why I drive the 45 min. to the south shore beaches. And sometimes there are small rocks at the ocean beaches also.

If you want to be outside go up to the pit stop bar, deck 13. I was on the Jewel last week and there were a couple of cigar smokers mixed in with the cigarette smokers. Enjoy your trip!

If they are not big drinkers, why not get the drink package. The cost works out to be about two drinks a day. It doesn’t make sense to not have it.

I was on this cruise in early September and pool bar was open. Spice was closed. They were going to pool bar to get drinks for people in spice. It took a while.

I stayed in cabin 14250 starboard aft on Breakaway in early September. Loved the location. Right by elevators and stairs, one deck up to garden cafe and two decks up to spice.

I also have done 3 cruises on NCL in the past year, and all were excellent. The Gem, bliss, and Breakaway. Never had a problem. I even used their air promotion for 2 of them. Have fun!

On the Breakaway in August, cigarettes were 50$ per carton or buy 2 get one free. Alcohol? Didn’t see much of a deal there. Seemed to be close to prices on land.

I pick a cabin that I like, say deck 14 cabin 14250. It’s near the elevators and one deck up to the buffet. I couldn’t care less if it is connected.

Just dined at Le Bistro and Teppenaki on breakaway in early September. The filet at Le Bistro is amazing! At teppenaki they cook the food at the table. Everything they bring out has to be perfect in my opinion, since you get to see it raw. Always a fun experience at teppenaki.
