for a fee.
It started out at 99$ per ride, then on the inaugurals there were no takers so they reduced it to$39.99 and then lately even $19.99 was seen on a port day. IMHO as long as you do Oasis class zip lines for free, my guess is, they'll eventually do it free...but we'll have to see.

I have been to Costa Maya at least a dozen times and have never been on a ship that wasn’t able to dock there. On the other hand, on a handful of cruises we weren’t able to dock at Coco Cay due to the weather/choppy water.
Same here, at least a dozen Costa Maya and at least 8 times to CoCo and we docked or tendered and had great days at all of them. In fact in 27 years of cruising we NEVER had any port cancelled even in Hurricane Ivan which diverted our fight to Fl.

I would not call Cozumel a home.
That was an expression and a joke 🙄 Although we've been to Coz probably no less than 20 or so times. And Palancar Reef in Cozumel is world famous for snorkeling, I wouldn't even classify it is as "decent". It's fabulous. I still remember the drift dive we did many years ago.

We're trying it for the 1st time in July. Didn't have the best time at Nachi in October. Quiet and relaxing but some drinks were awful and food was meh. Have heard good things about Paradise Beach. Enjoy!
We agree, we've been trying others since Nachi was sold to a new owner I think in 2020. We went to Allegro Cozumel just south of Nachi through Resort For a Day last September and had a great time, but again somewhat disappointed with food, property was perfection. We've been to Paradise once before and had a great time, I got so fuzzy I don't remember what the food was like, but booked it again for our Jubilee cruise.

Cozumel is our third home! 🥴 We always go to a playa, I love that gorgeous clear aqua water and Nachi service is bar none though we go to others, next stop in 2 weeks to Paradise Beach Club this time.

Not to mention the friends we have made over the years and still see from time to time.

OK just had to...doesn't all the 25 or so years of cruising memories have any value at all? We love to cruise and won't give it up until we topple out of our wheelchairs, doesn't have anything to do with perks, although once many years ago, we did a B2B, just the one with a 3 day and a 4 day on Majesty, just to say we did one and it made us Diamond. We were then ecstatic we got the balcony discount and started doing those a lot, we loved being in the lounge and getting way more than 4 drinks too. But when the vouchers came along, we stopped going in the evening. They took away the priority boarding line and we were disappointed at that since we'd done so many trips and were stripped of that perk, but we would still cruise RCCL if there were no perks at all. You gotta get away to where the boats come from right? So like I said, less cruises but we'll still be sailing and happy to have what's left of them. Whether it's on other lines too or not.

Does anyone really believe that these perks are “free?”
They're free for me. If I were not D+ I assure you I'd be paying for them. As I will on Jubilee.

And you got paid $2.15/hour.
Actually I was a foot loose and fancy free teen with my own junker car, wasn't paid anything LOL 1966

All the reviews on Jubilee are coming back very good. EECC on youtube reports they think the food is the best on any line. That's saying something.

I was looking at MSC last night, can get an Oceanview porthole on Seascape for around $1500. Beautiful ship. That is what we were used to paying for a balcony on most RCCL, but it's better than the mid $2000s lately.

Lots of people think Diabetics just need to avoid sugar, and all'll be well.
They don't need this information. I think most people who've been diagnosed know enough about what to avoid.

Unfortunately, cruising RCL from now on will never be what it once was.
It might not be the same, but I think it's doing just fine. I love the newer ships, we'll just cruise more infrequently...but I'm not dissatisfied at all. Just disappointed that things all over are more expensive...I still remember when gas was .24 a gallon and a loaf of bread cost .35! That's life.

Do consider that sugar-free doesn't mean carb-free (or even low-carb).
Of course, I've been T2 for about 15 yrs~! But I allow some carbs on a cruise, but not sugar or most starches. Everything has carbs but meats, doesn't anyone know that.

Last night I was looking to add in an 8 nighter at the end of April. The pricing was eye popping. I'll be staying home.
Try Celebrity, we have Ascent booked for our anniversay 2026 January=10 days down to Barbados and St. Lucia, and it wasn't much more than our 7 day and cheaper than anything Icon nor the sisters could offer.

I think only those with anytime dining can eat once in the semi pay restaurants.
There was nothing but late seating left since we just booked her and we leave in 3 weeks so I called and mentioned this very thing to the rep and she laughed at me! Anytime dining was not even available to click on "waiting list"... but she said she got us on it. My only hope is to work it out with the MtrD onboard.

I am D2 and I find no trouble whatsoever keeping to a diabetic diet. I tell my servers from the get go, no potatoes, rice or other starches, no bread, no 😭 rolls, no deserts except sugar free. And they do have coconut cake and key lime pie with no sugar, just make your requests the first night and they will be glad to help. We're pretty much carnivores on cruises and there is no limit to the protein choices.

We had a lovely cruise on her last September and she's still our favorite sister. Didn't notice anything about the carpet...

We're not "leaving" just branching out. First Carni cruise in 15 yrs coming up on Jubilee which is Excell class like Mardi Gras. Frankly, I'm excited about it. And our ADA inside cabin was exactly $2017 all in excluding grats which will be done per day.
