  1. by the way chief mate, i have no idea what uff da might mean
  2. there is always an incentive! in this case it's to give passengers a higher level of service.while i always go to cagneys and moderno, i would try a higher upscale dining experience if available.
  3. its the same menu as you would find if your ship had a dedicated haven area, we were recently on the jade, and breakfast was in moderno, lunch at cagney's . no difference between those choices and on any of the ships that have "havens" aslo since cagney's is one of the "specialty restaurants, ad is moderno, they are not available exclusively for haven guests. for dinners, they are open to all passengers. by the way, breakfasts menu is amazing!
  4. uff da. to avoid all this, once again i suggest you figure out the price at which you are comfortable paying, and just book a cabin in that category. you get to choose where your cabin is located, on which deck, and its surroundings
  5. if youre not a fan of the upgrade process, then very simply dont try and participate. its all voluntary. and i agree with my good buddy chief mate. just book the cabin you want and can afford at the beginning.
  6. i like cagneys steak house, and others like le bistro. that being said, however, if you're looking for michelin star quality, you may be disappointed!
  7. even if you could carry your luggage onboard with you, why would you want to schlep it along, especially if youre traveling with more than one person, and kids. its so much easier to just give it to a porter slip him $10 and have it show up infront of your cabin door a few hours later. in over 20 cruises within the past 30 years, we've never had a problem (knock on wood)
