  1. Yes, I'm well aware. But in the past year, Toronto has been a black hole for luggage! Documented and investigated several times. I haven't seen where that's been cleared up.
  2. Of course, this only works if the cabin allows 4 people. But other than that, it should work if another adult is willing to stay in there with them.
  3. Last time I saw crab legs in a MDR was 2006 on Princess. It was an app and they were split. My son was almost 5, wanted to try them, then promptly took my plate! Server saw that and brought 2 more plates.
  4. We'll be heading to Israel in 2024 so I was going to get them anyway.
  5. Only the drink package and the specialty dining wll cost you anything, but the specialty dining won't cost you much at all!
  6. Yeah, it does scare me about the luggage going through Toronto - I've heard it's a luggage black hole! I think Apple Airtags may be in order. We have another 9 days after this flight before we are home and we will certainly need our luggage!
  7. You should be able to put another adult in that cabin, then cancel the gentleman with cancer. You may be able to just replace him with another adult. It used to be a $50 change fee to do that but I don't know about now.
  8. So this sounds like it's a pre-clearance at YYZ, but real US Customs at Boston Logan. Both flights are Air Canada
  9. Is it really $50 at each port? I know it used to be but it shows on our reservation differently than it used to. But we also never used it before and will most likely do so for the September cruise.
  10. Our layover is an hour and 20 minutes - should that be enough time? Supposed to get there at 6:50am. And we'd have to collect our luggage to go through, right?
  11. We don't get out much, obviously. We've flown INTO Canada, but never out of it. We are booked on a flight from Quebec City (YQB) to Boston Logan (BOS) and changing planes in Toronto ((YYZ). First question: flight is at 5am on a Friday morning, what time do we need to be at the airport? Second:We will have gone through customs getting off the ship, but will we go through again at YQB or YYZ, or not untl US customs at BOS? Anything else we should know flying from CA that might be unusual to US citizens? I do know that they will check for the liquids, etc at YYZ before boarding to Boston to meet US requirements but did I miss something else? Thanks!
  12. There used to be a thread about where everyone was - is that not allowed anymore? We're cruising in September on the Joy, but most of the people I've known over the years are gone - either from ships, one on a different line, and one I know passed away from brain cancer.
  13. I love/like a lot of fish. The seaweed wrapper is what I absolutely HATE!!!!!
  14. Not a sushi person at all, but the firecracker shrimp sounds like it's right up my alley.
  15. Never been to Ocean Blue. We have 4 specialties, but I have no problem repeating Cagney's & LeBistro.
  16. We HAVE to go to Cagney's and LeBistro. The others are up in the air! We will be on the Joy, so if anyone has any suggestions, let me know.
  17. Is this a newish dessert in Cagney's? I love both butterscotch and caramel so it's definitely something I'd try but I don't know if I could skip creme brulee. And being diabetic, I certainly can't have both!
  18. The duck was amazing the first time I had it but not as much since then so I hesitate to order it again. Though it's been 5 years since I've had it.
