  1. Looking at my confirmation it was 5 calendar days but I haven’t seen a time period stated
  2. 15% for the current booking period - very reasonable
  3. Ok - go to the page on rssc.com for your particular cruise then look for this - click, fill in your email and you’re done Open the pdf and you’ll see the times with each tour
  4. Sorry but officially you’re not a Crystal Society member - here’s the rules from the old programme, you had to have completed a cruise Entry Requirements: You automatically become a member of Crystal Society when you complete your first full-revenue Crystal cruise of 5 days or longer. There is no cost or age requirement and your membership is permanent. Soon after you return home from your first cruise, you will receive a membership package that includes your Crystal Society membership card and number.
  5. Our TA have posed the same question to Crystal, but they said that OBC is always per person, so it is $500 per double cabin. They have asked them to add this simple statement to the invoice, to avoid mass confusion. Who knows whether that happens The amount is correct, but wording is not complete – according to Crystal management that wording “Per Person” should always be added to that line I’m interested to hear from anyone who has the full $500 (couple) or $250 (solo) printed on their booking confirmation form - anyone?
  6. 5% on these bookings - long term who knows but I believe it’s currently a double discount so probably 2.5% By comparison another luxury line does offer past cruisers a discount - but only on selected cruises - it’s not on everything
  7. The shore excursions document you can download off the page for your cruise on Rssc.com lists the start time for every cruise offered Yes things may change once on board but these are a very good indicator of likely start times
  8. Good The return of a restaurant named Tastes Now whether it will be just like the old one on Serenity who knows - but imagine this…my mouths watering
  9. The destination fees for one of my bookings are well in excess of $700 and are not a multiple of $700 - mind you mine is in A$ - but it’s nothing like US$700 converted to A$ So I guess that’s that theory debunked
  10. Seatrade on the guest rooms and suites today https://www.seatrade-cruise.com/refurb-interiors/inside-crystal-serenity-and-crystal-symphonys-new-guest-rooms-and-suites?
  11. A CC thread going off topic 🤷🏻 - now there’s something different To be accurate I think it all got very fuzzy when rain showers in restaurants was raised - the dining followed it off course
  12. I’m confused by that - but I guess they recognising past full WCers and letting them book segments on the hope they may have a change of heart and upgrade to the full WC later on Oh well when they’re ready to accept regular segmenters we will see if our schedules free - it’s filling up awful fast
  13. Our TA was rejected by the reservation agent when she tried to book segments on the World Cruise just an hour or so ago so it’s looking very unclear just what they’ll allow at this stage
  14. I guess AmEx took a big hit on a company called Crystal a year or so back…
  15. An article from an Australian site for TAs https://latteluxurynews.com/2023/02/03/crystal-relaunch-program-unveiling/?
  16. Yes - it looks like segments will be possible as friends have reported receiving confirmations for segment bookings - I’m still waiting on ours
  17. Yes I did but I’m seeing others reporting having received their segment confirmations so it seems it will be possible to book them - which is great news I hope to receive our confirmations today for several segments
  18. Thanks. I was just fascinated to see how old it was
  19. Ask your TA to book you a segment today then and let us know their response
  20. 😂😂😂 I don’t have a big call for that product - I’m follically challenged and what’s left can age gracefully 😂😂😂
  21. and some people say Crystal Symphony is old… https://thepointsguy.com/news/astoria-worlds-oldest-cruise-vessel-scrapped/
  22. Same ship even - guess it’s lettuce salads for me then 😂😂😂 Looking forward to judging for myself of course - I’m sure with all the dining locations on Silversea I’ll find one or two things to eat I think the dining discussions are amusing - are people really suggesting that the food on Silversea was of such quality that to eat it was an unpleasant experience? Or was it one dish that was not to their taste? Of course there’ll be misses from time to time - are you telling me that never happened on old Crystal? Seriously? Or any other line or restaurant for that matter To me poor service is a bigger issue - and one I hold the management responsible for as they set the standards
  23. No segments is going to be interesting It will be interesting to see how long it takes for that to change
  24. Far too many calories in all that bread - I’m an all natural kind of guy
