  1. Princess takes five days to sail CA to Hawaii. Carnival takes four. Princess has three or four ports in Hawaii. Carnival has four or five. Princess appears to have Hawaiian themed events on sea days. Anything else?
  2. Anyone taken both? Which do you recommend? Why?
  3. If you're old enough, you might remember Chevrolet Biscayne, Bel Air, Impalla, and Caprice. They were all the same car, but different levels of trim and such. Carnival Corporation has its tiers as well.Carnival is the Biscayne. If you want the economy brand, go with it. You'll cross the same ocean and stop at the same ports.
  4. No more than two sea days in a row. No more than two port days in a row. All port days are 9+ hours. Overnight in one or more ports.
  5. https://www.porttb.com We used valet in Tampa in April. All the terminals are close to each other. We just drove there and followed the signs. Valet is very convenient in Tampa.
  6. We were on Pride's last cruise before the transatlantic one. The crew was excited about going to Europe. Many new crew members joined in Tampa with our cruise. Didn't seem to be a problem. I probably could have guessed Brexit would create new "opportunities for improvement". Note to self: avoid Dover.
  7. To me, it's much less inticing. The Bermuda stop broke up the sea days. Just wondered if anyone had heard a reason.
  8. Bermuda was showing as a stop until this week. The current Pride sailing that left April 24 has a stop in Bermuda. Any idea why that has dropped for next year? Without it, there's no port until Day 9.
  9. We were on the Pride 17-24 April from Tampa. CD announced 2,011 passengers.
