We are Sapphire but since the beginning of COVID - no behind the scenes, dinner with the captain, wines around the world. Hope that all changes soon, not sure if it is short staff related or what? We are cruising next week.

The porthole is where the bedroom is. I think that the other middle portholes are Oceanview staterooms. These forward penthouses have a bedroom and a separate living area. The living area has sliders to the balcony, which is on the side of the ship.

They may vary in size slightly, but the layout should be the same. We are in one on deck 12 in 12 days. I like that they have a seperate bedroom and living area. I wake up earlier than my husband and this enables me not to have to leave the stateroom.

Where can you see your bid and its status? I made a bid for our Aug 23 cruise but don't see it on my NCL. Is it too early to see?

For those of you who got the Walgreens test, was this a self test at the drive up pharmacy window? My local CVS does the NAAT lab test at the drive up window. Says it takes 1 -2 days for results.

How did you obtain the OBC for missed activities?

Actually, we are doing NCL Joy out of NYC. We are in port early 7AM to 7PM, that is why I was interested in doing the excursion on our own to give us more time at the space center, but decided to go with the ship excursion for ease.

Thank you! After figuring the cost of Uber, the ships excursion in the long run is better for us.

We arrive at 7 AM and depart at 7PM. NCL offers a 5 hour tour for $100 each, leaves at 8:30. Figuring in the 30 minute drive each way, this tour only gives us 4 hours at the Space Center. I can get senior tickets for $50 per person (adult charge is $55) for my husband and I, so NCL is charging us $100 for transportation. Was wondering if we can get Uber or Lift cheaper and thus would give us more time to tour on our own.

We are making a port stop at Port Canaveral and would like to visit Kennedy Space Center. Would prefer not to do the ships excursion since it limits our time at Kennedy. Any suggestions as to how to get there?
