  1. @PescadoAmarillo Wow! Amazing story. I don't consider myself specifically a "Princess cheerleader"... but it disappoints me greatly what you and DH had to endure. Sorry it's taken me this long to "find" it. (Maybe increase the font size just a bit in your signature so it is a bit more visible...?)

  4. On more than one occasion I have learned this from a Princess Chat session. They *should* be able to tell you what hotel(s) are used. Typically...when you check in at the hotel with the Princess group they give you a pre-printed letter with all of the info needed in regards to what to do in regards to the transfer.
  5. Ummm...not necessarily. This could have been the beginning of "the big mistake" in that he was accidentally sold a ticket when he was underage. As far as "entering" the casino...I have never seen any casino staff member turn anybody away who *might* have been underage. And...we really don't know what this person's age is. We're having a lot of "fun" with this one making some unsubstantiated assumptions. There are a LOT of inconsistencies with what was represented....

  8. @Aunt Barty...welcome to CruiseCritic! Just FYI...you have responded to a posting that was created back in 2021. Most App issues have now been resolved *IF YOU HAVE A NEWER DEVICE...or one that has lots of RAM*. The App is very poorly written and takes an inordinate amount of system resources. Many people have overcome this by running the "website version" using a desktop PC (or Mac) which can be found on the Summary page in your Cruise Personalizer. You can't do everything...but quite a bit can be done using this method. Click on "Try our web version"
  9. They wanted to see the QR code? Or the medallion? We've been asked MANY times to show our medallions by shore security personnel...
  10. And...just to point out... we have NEVER been asked to see this "magic QR code" nor have we ever been asked about our boarding group/arrival time.
  11. Yes...I recently had this happen to me. In my situation there was only 1 seat left on the excursion...I was trying to purchase 2 seats. That is the exact message that I got. BUT...you are so far out that I highly doubt this is the issue you are facing. I'm not saying that this is the cause in your case...but check the remaining seats on what you're trying to buy. It could very well be a website listing error and they don't have seats showing for some strange reason.
  12. @treasurehunter, since you do not "imbibe" then one of the fare packages is probably not the best choice for you. Yes, as @PacnGoNowshared, you can buy the internet as "standalone". We *generally* always do the Princess Plus. We're not *big* drinkers but we enjoy a few drinks while cruising. (To be perfectly honest...we *probably* do not get our money's worth...but we like that the package rolls everything together that we would get anyway.) Have a GREAT cruise!

I cannot comment on Iceland Air...also have never been to Iceland (but this will be remedied in May!) however, since I have status on Delta I would automatically choose Delta over any other airline. I see those very tempting fares through EZAir...but after a very disappointing experience will never go that route again. Most people have no trouble at all going with EZAir. Hope you have a GREAT cruise!

  16. You will LOVE Santorini! Probably my most favorite port stop ANYWHERE! But be prepared for a long line for the tram up the side of the ridge/mountain.
  17. I can honestly say that I have NEVER seen anybody playing shuffleboard on ANY of our cruises! And that's supposed to be one of the "trademark" activities of a cruise...if you believe the movies or TV! 😄

  19. Delta ABSOLUTELY will NOT touch this reservation before it is ticketed...and probably not even after. I've tried, though it was with another cruise line (same type of air promo). I was simply wanting to upgrade seats and they referred me back to the cruise line (NCL). I will never again use these air promos...they are what is called "bulk consolidation" deals and the rules and regs are CRAZY. I'll depend on my status with Delta to get my deals, thank you!
