  1. The fact that it is showing 0% discount pretty well proves that they are still working on it...why in the world would they want to *infuriate* customers with a message like that?

  3. One guideline that always seems to be good...do a mock booking through EZAir and see what the earliest time is that they recommend. Even though you are not planning to use them you will get a good idea as to the earliest flight to book.
  4. This is just another instance of rolling out *untested* software...whether it be on the App or the website. They just don't seem to get the concept of having a *working* update available and THEN flipping the switch.

If it's a big deal for you to get the wifi then I would go ahead and purchase...BUT take along hardcopies/screenshots of any and all documentation you can to prove that you are due the %50 discount. We hear too many stories about how people have come up short...simply because they could not back it up with documentation.

  8. OK...I just read another post that talked about a S2S (side to side) booking. I'm going to have to show my ignorance here! That's a new one on me. From the posts in what I was reading, it sounded just like a B2B...but apparently there is a difference. Can someone please educate me?
  9. Not true...we have NEVER booked a hotel in London through Princess but have used Victoria Coach Station at least 5 times now.
  10. We, too, have stayed at the Rubens...but not for a cruise. There are other (small) hotels very near Victoria Coach Station that we have stayed at. Have never gone all the way to Southampton to stay a night or two prior to cruise...others have had good recs for doing that. We just really like London and the convenience/location around the Coach Station.
  11. And there lies the root cause! You booked with a TA. Actually @PacnGoNow suggested that just a couple posts back. So...no, you will not see that drop-down. You will have to go through your TA. Sorry for trying to lead you astray!
  12. Several people have posted about this...but the "answer" given by Princess just doesn't fly. I refuse to believe they have taken 3-4 weeks to update the website.
  13. Yes, I *generally* book direct. That makes sense that it does not show when booked with a TA...apologies! I did not think of that possibility. Pros and cons either way!
  14. Double check to see if there is a drop-down selector next to the airport transfer...it's easy to miss if you've never done it.
  15. You are correct! I had not thought to search with Google (DOH!) MUCH easier than trying to do it solely within CC with the added benefit of Google finding *other* locations than CC! I guess this old dog CAN learn a new trick!
  16. Sorry, we did not eat there when we did our Alaska sailing in August. We walked past it several times and I always looked over at it...it might just be me but it *seemed* rather small (if I'm remembering correctly!) If we'd had a bit longer sailing I'm sure we would have given it a shot. Hope you get some good info from others.
  17. I'm always hearing about others who have needed their additional coverage. Luckily (knock on wood) we have NOT needed to use ours...but I will never let it lapse!
  18. If you do a search in this forum you can find Patters that other cruisers have posted...but sadly there is no "central repository" that you can use. It's pretty much a potshot trying to find a particular thread unless it actually has the word "Patters" in the title.
  19. I just send this via email: ('sbpcl@princesscruises.com' with my stock proof attached) I am requesting the shareholder’s Benefit. I have purchased the required 100 shares of CCL and offer up the following supporting information as noted on the Shareholder Benefit webpage. 100 shares purchased (see attached brokerage report) Name: Booking Number: Ship: Sail Date: Name Address Phone MUCH easier than trying to use that dumb form! People who design these forms rarely go through the motions of actually filling them out! Field lengths are never long enough unless you write microscopically!
  20. That's an interesting possibility...I'm going to go check for that right now, though I've never had an issue with them accepting what I've sent in. I have to go through some manipulation with a graphics editing software package to get to what I've been sending. A custom report would be MUCH easier! Thanks!
