  1. Pretty sure they mean the proctored test if you do an at-home test. Otherwise, that would be two contradictory situations. I agree that point #3 could/should be worded better.
  2. Possibly/probably...but I don't think he/(she?) hangs around Guest Services!
  3. I would avoid a Carnival itinerary at spring break like the PLAGUE!
  4. To whom is your question directed? If the OP ...very first post by the OP stated the Emerald...
  5. While the staff at the Guest Relations desk are generally very good...they have NO idea as to how the ship was built and/or construction materials used. That is just above their pay grade.
  6. I doubt that you'll get much *meaningful* info regarding your question seeing as how nobody has been on the Sun yet.
  7. The one time we have sailed on the Sky we did not experience anything like what you are describing. You did not say what type of cabin you are in (unless I just missed it)...we were in a mini-suite, R423.
  8. You will not have any trouble at all finding where you need to go or what to do. Princess reps will be right there in the baggage claim area as everyone above has posted. This is an easy one...so no stress required!
  9. Gonna have to show my ignorance here...What the heck is a "boxing day"? Scenes of Muhammed Ali come to mind!
  10. Then I guess he is going home? IDK
  11. While this is not on a cruise....perhaps he is waiting for his connecting flight to FLL...?
  12. I feel quite certain that there "reasoning" is that they need time to prepare for lunch. Could they do it? Absolutely!
  13. How's this for a blast from the past: From Apr 29, 1999
  14. I recall on a previous Alaska sailing that it was channel 26...but of course that could vary by ship.
  15. Welcome to Cruise Critic! Yes...we need to know what ship you're sailing on. If you happen to be on a ship that has an Alfredo's Restaurant...definitely give that a shot if you like pizza. It's free. We make a special point to hit Alfredo's 2 or 3 times for a week cruise!
  16. Welcome to Cruise Critic! Something definitely sounds off with this. As others have suggested...check in your on-line Cruise Personalizer. Don't depend on the app for this info.
  17. Just to be clear...you can get a non-club class mini suite which may very well be right next door to an identical cabin that *does* have CC.
  18. 100% agree! I will no longer book these types of "air deals" with cruise lines. Only got burned doing so once...but once was enough! I am quite confident that I can book acceptable flights...even if it costs me a bit more up front.
  19. I don't think you sign up in advance. Most likely just show up at the venue at the proper time.
  20. If there has not been a Roll Call started you can start one yourself. No obligation!
  21. I probably have 10 or more bags...bidding starts at $25 😄
  22. I would not bid in order to stay with your friends.
  23. Princess has certainly had its share of IT glitches lately...I would keep an eye on it for the next few days. Those "extras" may very well just disappear!
