  1. If I had to purchase now I would get the one with built-in USB. I've had these for quite a long time...before they started adding the USB! 😄
  2. It depends on whether they were all booked as single 7 day cruises or if a couple (or more) were listed as B2B.
  3. It *should*...but not always! It can choke on the most mundane of things such as country prefix in your phone number, emergency return airport code...etc. Things that really shouldn't trip you up getting to "green lane" status.
  4. They recently held one on the Island...but it was in conjunction with another event so yeah...another cutback!
  5. @PoohUnderstands Greetings! I see we are "neighbors"! (Soddy-Daisy) I also travel with a CPAP but I never use the ship-supplied extension cords. After the first time (and always tripping over it as it crossed the cabin) I investigated a better way. If you pull out the bed just about a foot or so you should see a European style "2 prong" outlet (220 volts). They are typically used for the bedside lamp. Get yourself (from Amazon) an adapter that gives you a European 2 prong as well as a US-style socket. Most all CPAP power supplies are dual voltage (obviously check yours for sure.) These adapters are CHEAP! You can quite often get a 2 pack for under $10. MUCH better than having a cord snaking around your cabin!
  6. @resordanis...note that several have posted that their check came in a VERY nondescript envelope...NOT FROM PRINCESS. Be very careful as you look through your mail!
  7. Not sure I am exactly following your question. Anytime you book (via ANY method) you have the opportunity to purchase insurance. Also, if you had booked with FCC and then cancel, your FCC *should* be reinstated as long as they have not expired.
  8. @lefy...you should get into the habit of "following" any thread that you have started for the very reason you stated; "I can't find my thread". At the top of your listing in the upper-right corner you will see: Click on the word "Follow" and then you will receive an email whenever someone replies to your topic.
  9. The shops are generally not open while in port.
  10. Have not had to deal with this but why not just book it with the new married name?
  11. Hah! This old guy has learned something else from a CC member! I had no idea about that. I have always pretty much ignored those displays..never thought I needed them for anything. So...yes, you are correct @MissP22...it would be very simple indeed. Thanks for the clarification!
  12. Agreed! Certainly would not the first occurrence of something not being updated!
  13. While it is certainly possible to access a cabin other than your own if you have found an unreported medallion...you would have to roam up and down EVERY deck past/near EVERY cabin door to unlock it. As long as you are timely in reporting your lost medallion the odds on this being successful are very slim.
  14. I have run out of things to suggest. Perhaps if you know how to save a screenshot (full screen) from your HP desktop we might get some clue as to what is happening. Post the screenshot and let's see where that takes us. If you're not sure how to do a screengrab: Open your browser to Princess.com (don't press any arrow keys or do anything to "move around" the site. I find that this *may* cause the "Assistance" button to disappear.) Press Fn+PrintScreen. Your screen is copied into your paste buffer. (There's no visual indication that anything has taken place!) Now open a reply post here in CruiseCritic and press Shift+Insert. Your screen will "magically" ( 😄 ) appear in your post.
  15. I'm surprised that nobody suggested getting a taxi or Uber/Lyft after doing self-disembark (early as @Potstechstated). You will kill some time waiting for a Princess transfer bus to fill up. It generally is not too long of a wait...but you can definitely save a bit of time bypassing the transfer. Personally...I always do the transfer and book a slightly later flight just to be on the safe side.
  16. I would think that if you have a confirmation of a completely paid-for cruise (for 2) then if one person just doesn't show up why would they care? At that point...they're coming out ahead. (Just my 2 cents worth...and that's all it's worth!)
  17. I don't know if you ever got an answer for this...but it may very well be done in US dollars. I'm sure that's not what you want.
  18. Our passports were collected on a British Isles cruise a few years back. Not sure, but I *think* it was for Ireland (maybe Scotland). I've slept since then!
  19. Interesting! I did not know exactly how the system alerted the waiter/server. I'd bet that this was NOT written by the same people who di the app! Otherwise...I'd be somewhat concerned.
  20. Ah! You may very well be right. I missed that tidbit. That would definitely be a big issue for A LOT of people who regularly depend on the ship laundry service. I sure hope that's not what was meant but based on the wording from the OP that's what is being said.
  21. @63 Super Sport...I see that you are not "following" the thread. You should scroll up to the top of your thread and select "follow" so that you will receive timely alerts that someone has replied. (Just a suggestion!)
  22. Hmmm...it sounds as if you are saying that you were ashore when the loss took place. If so (I hate to say) you may very well be out of luck. The odds that anyone could even make the connection that "it came from the Enchanted" are slim to none. I suspect you have an insurance claim to file...
  23. I always do so via the Dietary Request section as @Starshine95123stated. Have never had an issue doing this. But, if it is not in your cabin when you first arrive...just mention it to the steward. He/she will have it to you in no time at all (usually).
