  1. This is what’s showing in Azamara’s listed shore excursions for this cruise. Regards, Paul
  2. Hi Mark, I too am currently onboard Onward and have developed a taste for the Atlas Bar. Great staff, service and drinks. There are about 15 guests here right now for a pre-dinner drink. With regards to the electrical receptacles next to the bed; I’m not in a suite but like the other Azamara ships my stateroom has a receptacle on either side of the bed that accepts my Canadian/U..S. plug and it looks like it can also accept another type as well. The light fixtures on either side of the bed also have a USB port on the underside. I also don’t appreciate the occasional waft of smoke that drifts over from the smoking area to the pool bar but in my experience it doesn’t happen often. I think it’s a little harsh suggesting moving the smoking area to deck 12 on a ship that only has 11 decks 😁. All in all my first experience on Onward has been as wonderful as all my previous Azamara cruises have been. Regards, Paul
  3. Have you tried letting the host or hostess know you would like to speak to the manager? Prime C has 2 sittings - 6:00-6:30 p.m. and 8:00 to 8:30 p.m. If you book the early sitting, show up at 6:30 and order at 7:00. I really don’t understand how one of these sittings can be too early and the other can be too late. How many dinner sittings do you feel a small specialty restaurant on a small ship should have? Prime C and Aqualina are the only restaurants on Azamara that take reservations. I hope you’re able to find something that pleases you on the cruise. Regards, Paul

    COVID TEST

My initial travel plans involved a direct flight to Barcelona from Toronto but that flight was cancelled the day it was due to depart and I ended up flying to Amsterdam the following day and then on to Barcelona. At the time I was required to complete and submit the Spanish SpTH Health Control Form before I departed which I did. Due to my flight changes I ended up arriving in Barcelona from another Schengen country which streamlined things. I don't recall any special requirements at Barcelona airport other then showing my SpTH QR code. I'm not sure what the requirements are for someone like yourself traveling from the U.K. Regards, Paul

    COVID TEST

Hello, I recently was on a BtoB from Barcelona to Copenhagen on Quest from June 11-28, 2022 and we stopped in Spanish, Portuguese, French, Belgian, Dutch and Danish ports as well as Guernsey. I did ship excursions or wandered around on my own in all of these countries and there were no issues or restrictions leaving the ship or returning. The standard precautions, showing your cruise card and putting your belongings through a metal detector, were in place when you returned to the ship. As we all know travel regulations and restrictions can change very quickly. I hope this helps. Regards, Paul
  6. Laurieb is correct. Shared tables are fully back and there is no requirement to dine only with members of your travel group or bubble. I’ve dined almost exclusively at shared tables on this cruise. It’s a great way to meet other people from around the world. Regards, Paul
  7. I agree wholeheartedly with mdpa. A lovely cruise so far and a great White Night in Malaga this evening I’ve attached a few images including Johannes speaking at the White Night party and views from deck 10 of the Cathedral and Alcazaba. A very convenient docking location. Regards, Paul
  8. Another itinerary I would like to see in the summer would be Europe to North America or reverse with stops in Iceland and Greenland. Regards, Paul
  9. That would be great. Throw in the Maldives and Zanzibar and I'm in! Start in Colombo and end in Dar es Salaam or vice versa. Regards, Paul
