  1. We have done Sky Suites on all the E-class ships and enjoy the extra cabin space as much as anything. We spent a decent amount of time there.

We did the Norwegian fjords last year on the Jewel of the Seas. We had an aft balcony. I would highly recommend one. If you can get an aft Sky Suite that would be wonderful— except for the walk to the elevators. My wife has limited walking ability and we used a wheelchair all the time she was out of the cabin.

Geiranger, Flam, Alesund, Honninsvag —It was a trip of a lifetime.

Just a couple pictures from our aft sailing to Geiranger. Words do not do it justice…

I hope you also have the trip of a lifetime !

It’s been called: Aqua Show is cancelled and our reservations will be transferred to tomorrow night.

They were communicating with the bridge for a while, trying to find better weather, but in the end it wasn’t meant to be.

We love Aqua80! Best Aqua show in the fleet. Hope the weather cooperates later in the cruise.

It was ok for me, but it’s a bit of a trek from the drop off place for Mears and the Brightline train station. It took me approximately 15 minutes.

After entering Terminal C from the Mears drop off point, I had to take an elevator to the fourth floor. From there, it was a matter of following the directions.

    And finally there I was!

I gotta say --- Terminal C is absolutely brutal. Especially if you are arriving on JetBlue. Brand New and one of the longest corridors I have ever experienced in an airport that doesn't have a moving sidewalk. As you can probably attest, its a wheelchair challenge. When we arrived on Jet Blue, in order to get to the rental car garage I think we went up three elevators and down two -- with about a mile of walking in between ...

Sorry for the hijack -- back to our regularly scheduled programming.

I just returned from a cruise vacation with Celebrity Ascent. Every thing was really nice until the last minutes, when I call Uber to give me a ride from Port Everglade (Florida) Terminal 25 to a nearby Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Somehow, I cannot  be able to get into Uber in order to select the ride. I have been using Uber App for about 20-30 times during the last few years, but I never had that problem. A friend of mine in the vacation group suggested me to stop the connection, then reconnect it. I did that several times, still cannot get in for more than 10 minutes each time. Until a friend helped me by using his phone to order a Uber for me. The ride was charged to his account; then I reimbursed him. But when I got to the nearby Enterprise office, and tried my phone again. No problem. I can connect to Uber immediately from there. So, I believe the problem happened at Terminal 25 was not due to my phone, but may be due to the cellular service provider. Mine is Verizon, my friend’s provider is T-Mobile. Anyone in this Forum had the same problem as mine? If so, who are your provider? Thank you very much for sharing your experiences, and I am very appreciated any advice you would offer.

We have used Lyft from terminal 25 a number of times and every time, it’s a challenge to connect. Impossible inside the building. This last time, I walked almost into the street right near the pickup area and it worked fine. Near the building, not so much. We have Xfinity Mobile, which uses the Verizon system I believe.

We were also going to Enterprise 😂.

I get it! Food is one of my favourite attractions 😂

I know I’m leaving tomorrow, but any favourite food places or items you’d like to share for my next time?

Our favorite Disney World restaurant is definitely Boma, at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I guess we like the restaurants there— we named our cat Jiko - after the signature restaurant there which is fabulous:

We lost that wonderful girl to cancer about a year and a half ago. The newest family member is Mara - the quick service restaurant at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

IMG_4587.jpegNow, back to restaurants: We also enjoy the Biergarten at the German pavilion in Epcot, The Edison at Disney Springs. Chef Art Smith’s Homecoming is good but difficult to get a reservation. A good “secret” is Olivia’s at Old Key West. For a real treat try Capa at the Four Seasons Resort — one of the only ways to get to see Golden Oak !!!

Wow, trip 107! 🤯 Anything you’re particularly looking forward to for that trip?

The Oasis class ships are indeed huge and can be rough for people with mobility issues. Although it takes me longer to get places, I will usually take detours to avoid rolling on carpet for long distances.

We go more for the food than the rides ! Any Epcot festival is a great day , or two.

We bought a house in Orlando  awhile ago and my sister-in-law hasn’t seen it yet and she is coming with us, always fun with a newbie!!

We will head over to Jetty Park near Port Canaveral one weekend day to watch the cruise ships leave . With a trip to Fishlips first!

I’m sure they have listings of what’s available different days. I have seen the rotating menus and saw how detailed they are with labels.  Yes, the current Star Class prices are INSANE! If prices don’t drop this experience is a one and done for us.

Certainly agree with the current price points. The 4 bedroom Villa suite on Symphony in summer 2025 is more than double what it was on Harmony in 2022. Others must agree because it is still available for a number of summer 2025 sailings. It usually disappears as soon as bookings open.

  8. Enjoying you Disney pix. My first trip was in 1973 with my Mom. I guess I

liked it because trip #107 is next week!

Looking forward to your TA adventures! My wife and I love the sea days. She prefers slightly smaller ships than the mega ships unless the grandkids are coming along. She has some mobility issues and uses a wheelchair occasionally if a lot of walking is involved. Interested in your experience/observations .

CocoCay in its current form was designed to handle up to 12,000 guests per day.  It will be rare to have a day there without another ship docked as well.  We were fortunate on two early RCCL return to cruising itineraries after covid that included CocoCay to be there as the only ship docked, which was very nice.  Those days are long past.

And I think that 12,000 was before Hideaway Beach opened.

There are 7 or so days in April and the same number in May where only one ship is scheduled, fewer later in the year once Utopia starts sailing. It is very nice with only one. Of course, some of those single ship days are Icon days which has 7000 of its own folks.

We're there on April 22 on the Reflection.  Along with a giant RCI ship.

According to CruiseMapper, you will be the first X ship there, with 6000 RCL relatives!

We enjoy the lagoon pool and swim up bar before it gets crowded and loud.

Most of my photos posted on CC are from my iPhone 15 Pro Max while about 50% of the movies on my youtube channel are 50% Phone and GoPro.

Will have to see how things turned out today.    I went swimming in a pool under a waterfall and took my GoPro for a swim.

Enjoying watching the videos, thanks !

Not sure if this was an open invite but  Charla..  Gen X , and Jeremy were very interested in the ABC itin..

Thought we might join them but never connected.  Maybe you can reach out and see if they might join?,

Open to all. Just booked the 8 day 4/4/2026 Silhouette to ABC islands. May add the preceding 6 day, or look to something else for a S2S.

Oceania Allura transatlantic on 4/14/26 is intriguing.
