No, some ships still have formal nights,  but as others have mentioned it makes little difference.

Yep! Pretty much know that it doesn't make a difference, but still just curious! 🙂

I forgot when I posted this that it could turn into one of those types of threads. There was no intention of it being a let's get the popcorn out thread, LMAO. Nothing more than simple curiosity.

One of the sites we are not supposed to mention here posted this update they received from Royal Caribbean.

    September 13 Update:

We have received further clarification on this change.

    • All short itineraries (5-nights or less) offer a “Wear Your Best” evening onboard (in lieu of a formal night).  Royal Caribbean describes it as: Nighttime’s the right time to wear your best look.  That means a step up from your tropical dinner wear, and includes collared shirts, dresses, skirts, blouses and pantsuits.  Jackets, tuxedos/formal wear sports coats and blazers are also appropriate.
    • Sailings that are 6-nights or longer still have formal nights.  This includes Harmony of the Seas and all sister ships sailing 6+ night itineraries

    Thank you.

Oh the Johnny Rocket omelettes are so good. I’m getting one for you tomorrow. 😀

Check out my Harmony cruise about a month ago, had an omelette a couple times.

Can you post pics of the JR's Omelets?

    Thanks. 😉

  4. With the revolution drydock re-fits starting within the next 6 months or so, I have not seen new "post revolution" deck plans for either the M or S class of ships. Nothing on the website, but with Celebrity's cracker jack IT team, it wouldn't surprise me that they're available, but just have not been added to the website.

I thought I had read a post that stated the 18th deck on the ships (I believe they were referring to the M-class ships) were going to be used for the private suites-only retreat deck, which Celebrity has said will be part of the revolution re-fits. I then realized that none of the Celebrity ships even have a deck 18 (especially the M-class, which only go up to Deck 12). So I've brushed that off as to pure speculation.

Has anyone seen any new deck plans that have been provided by Celebrity? The current schedule goes through the spring of 2020, so an entire year of itineraries now available for booking without knowing what the ship is going to look like (more so the use of the public spaces)? I know I won't make a booking without seeing what the outcome of the "revolution" will look like.

    Thanks.

The Retreat will be on Deck 12 forward. You're right, Deck 18 is incorrect.

    :)

  5. I didn't get a call and what, they wait for final payment of the Nov 27th cruise to announce this. We loved DD on Quantum and all our dinners and shows have been linked with friends so very unhappy about this whole thing. There was no problem with DD when we sailed Quantum. It's Classic that's messing things up.
