  1. Weird.  We were on Escape 12/18 and all staff was wearing masks and I didn't really notice any cruisers being grossly out of compliance with the mask requirements.  We had a wonderful time and the staff and food were excellent

Maybe you were just against this cruise from the get go because of the cancelled port?

The prices for NCLs cruises later in the year is a bit high for my taste.  Some dates are like double especially on the bigger ships.  When you take FCC you are losing value but if you are not comfortable going then it’s worth it since they are waiving the penalty until 1/31/2022 for sailings until 5/31/22

wow that sucks.  I was actually going to look for bookings for October because I thought the price would go down and they would at least want the reservation money to float for a while.  Guess I won't waste my time

  3. This week was our second cruise with NCL and second time using the NCL BOGO air.  I see a lot of naysayers on here and let me give you our experience.

We were booked with American Airlines.  When we got to Orlando, my mom's luggage could not be found.  The shuttle operator waited as long as they could, but we had to go on without it.  When we got on board my mom went to Guest Services and told them what happened.  They gave her a bag with a XXL T shirt (she's a medium) and a few toiletries.  Her bag was eventually found and forwarded to Cozumel where someone from the ship drove directly to the airport and hand delivered it to my mom back on the ship.  NCL also gave her $200 in OBC for clothing and other necessity purchases.  She actually ended up getting cash back because she didn't spend it all.  She is still filing a claim with AA and will hopefully be compensated from them as well.

Had we booked these flights on our own, we would most likely be SOL.  NCL went above and beyond for us and it has made us customers for life!

How could they make it safer, by cancelling all cruises?!

If you don't want to be around even vaxxed people, then you might as well stay at home, order everything online, and watch tv.

I know this isn't directed at me but I don't think they should cancel all cruises, I just think I should be given the option of a refund.

I actually do the above, I work from home, binge Hulu and do most of my shopping online 🙂

You lost the amount you spent of travel insurance the day you bought it, but in this case only cancel for any reason insurance, which is more expensive and doesn’t refund it all, would work in this case.

If NCL cancels the cruise I should get a refund for my travel insurance as well as it is through them

This is a great example of why you need travel insurance.

We're on the Epic in 6 days.  They dropped a port and added another sea day.  They also cut some entertainment.   We're thinking of canceling today and booking an Oceania cruise instead.   We have cancel for any reason insurance so we're able to be flexible.

I wouldn't have spent the additional money for the "any reason " insurance but until the world is completely normal,  everyone should.

I do have travel insurance but I don't feel like I should also lose the money I paid for travel insurance
