I was on RH recently for 4 weeks around South America. I saw the sincere concern than Captain Dimas felt and communicated.

I am on RH now and Capt Dimas had his Captain's Corner this morning. He said he will have a longer than usual contract and will sign off on May 13 in Venice.

Things must have changed on Freedom, because when we did our b2b in December of 2012, the top three PC Members were recognized and we all got a bottle of bubbly.

Only #1 on FR last month.:mad:

We are on RD in June for Alaska. Robert Taggart has been HD on RD for a while. Will he still be on RD, or on vacation/transferred, etc. Would be great to sea him again!

He's only been on RD for less than a year, so I would expect him to stay. Plus, the last he said was that RD is his ship at least for now. But we know how rapidly that can change.

We like John very much. Any idea what ship he's on now? I believe he finished getting the Sydney office in shape and went back out to sea.

He was HD on LG in March/April 2015. Hope to run into him again.

Really hoping this changes between now and then ... I was just stuck him this past November for 12 days on Anthem, and next I'm on Harmony back to back this coming November and do not want him again ...he has no personality at all, really wish they would just leave him behind the scenes ... very disappointed with this news :( :( :(

I'm on FR and this morning I tried to ask Casey about an Activities staff member on another ship. His response was "I only know Cruise Directors." End of conversation. Sorry, Donna, but I won't waste my energy to find out who will replace him.

He is not on AN and he will not go back to AN.

I believe they normally get approx 2 months off.

Donna, it looks like you missed this! Anyway I have since seen Rob on board, so I can now confirm that he is the next CD here.

Rich is going to GR mid-January (16?). As of now, that will be his ship.

Patricia goes on vacation when we get to Tampa on 11/14. She doesn't know yet where/when her next contract will take her.

MJ is returning on the 14th.

Vojchek (I know the spelling is terrible) is now the permanent Diamond Concierge and will no longer fill in at the Concierge Lounge. That makes more sense to me than being in each of the 2 lounges for 2 months each.

MADflyer, I believe this is the second time you've mentioned Empress. She has been out of the Royal fleet for years. Did you really mean Empress? If so, I must have missed an announcement somewhere.

Just got off Jewel today, and Captain Thore said he is moving to Indy in January. It was indicated by other senior crew members that a 'female captain' was coming to Jewel...they seemed to imply Capt Lis, but would not give us a name.

Not to start a rumor, but to mention another possibility, I think Staff Capt Wendy is due to be promoted.

It was reported on RCCL's Crown and Anchor FB page that there was a bomb threat on the Indy today in San Juan. The passengers are still not on board.

It could be that Amy will be reassigned, or it may be that she is taking a 4 month break since she was married the week before her last contract began, so she didn't have much time with her new husband and may not want to be "at sea" over the holidays.

Amy's husband (Andy) is (was?) on the sports staff and they boarded at the same time.
