Yes, we've used it. Luckily, didn't have to make a claim but the coverage was good. And you can cancel up until day you cruise because it was just for medical.

Very happy to see this comp!eted. I can now see the passenger list for Leerdam II, which wasn't even available at Piet 21 in Halifax. Hopefully they will a also be able to add more details to the immigration records there.

We travelled with my mom at 81. She had a number of medical issues. We applied at Mecipac and Prime Link insurance. We filled out the form and a panel of their doctors go over it and they get back to you with a price based on your details. That's if they approve you. We tried another cruise a few years later but she was turned down for insurance.u

These are underwritten policies and quite expensive. I think hers cost as much as her 10 day cruise. but it was her first and last cruise, so worth the cost for her.

Hope you find insurance so that your mom can go on the cruise.

Holland America facilitates it too.

Their decision to double test all travellers makes no sense. Just an expensive PR stunt.

Think it's a little too late to stop spread by closing borders. The inconvenience of testing and isolation is another story.

Just get a couple sets of flatware from the Lido and keep it in your room. Then if necessary wash and hide it from stewards if you are quarantined.

I think anyone planning on travelling needs to be pro-active. If you test positive on an at home rapid antigen test, take a picture of the test using your phone. But I think you also will have to find somewhere to get a pcr test.

Sounds like what it was pre-Covid.

I didn't know that 3* got a discount at Rudi's.

I didn't receive any printed slip when I got my first shot. Just an email that came later in the day. That form only had the Ontario logo at the top while the ones you print now have both Canada and Ontario.

Has anyone been given the reason for this change? Did they add those 3 days to the following cruise? Or maybe added a short 3 day charter?
