    I would walk to the taxi stand, go to Orient, rent chairs and an umbrella, have lunch, stay as long as you’d like, and grab a taxi back to the ship. Very easy and you’ll save money!!

    The ship excursion is convenient and worth the few extra $s

    Casa de Campo is 1/2 mile away. Won’t be cheap in March but it is beautiful

    We are on this same cruise and haven’t heard anything about dropping a port. Just got our final invoice yesterday and it’s showing the same 5 original ports????

    We have been there 3 times. Just used a taxi from the port area, there are signs. Don’t remember the price but it was about $8pp each way. The Nest restaurant is nice for lunch

    If you just want to spend 3-4 hrs at VCB, why are you thinking of a tour? We have always enjoyed VCB

    Looking for a 4-6 hr. lunch cruise with a small group, (10-15 guests) for our January port stop. Barbados has several offerings but I haven’t seen any in St. Kitts. Thanks in advance for any help.

    We are flying into PIE and looking for a 2 night pre cruise stay. Don’t care about staying by the beach but would like a vibrant area with restaurants, bars, etc Thanks in advance

    It was much nicer about 10 years ago before the cruise ships began running excursions.

    We cancelled a cruise a few years ago about a week before the sail date due to a death in the family. We had cruise insurance and it covered everything, including the full cruise fare.
