  1. The picture doesn't do it justice. It's like taking a picture while driving on I95 in Rhode Island.
  2. Incorrect, they will work with Android, but there are Android specific variations available from other manufacturers.
  3. I forgot to mention today was (not Sunday) brunch in the Grand Dining room. Some of the folks appeared to have not seen food for weeks, judging by the way they attacked the spread. It was not bad. Tonight is an extra reservation in Polo Grill.
  4. Heading for Elephant Island. If there are no actual elephants to see this will be my last Oceania cruise (sarcasm font needed).
  5. AirTags are the solution. If you can inform the luggage handlers where your bag is and show them a picture of the actual bag(taken before you check it in), they'll find it.
  6. Just finished passing by the biggest iceberg in the world A-24a. The Captain told me we were no more than 400 meters away. It can't all be seen at once.
  7. They have Chai Latte tea bags in every venue that has coffee.
  8. As of 1 hour ago, the machine in the concierge lounge on Marina had espresso, Cappuccino, lattes and Americano both caffeinated and decaf, the snacks were just fine. I suspect this "report" should be taken with a grain of salt.
  9. Looks like we will be taking a ride to visit A-23A, currently the largest iceberg in the world. Tommorow is Elephant Island.
  10. Yesterday was truly amazing. I don't have the bandwidth for sharing pictures beyond this one, but really, pictures can't convey how beautiful this area is.
  11. Nope, they still do it. A couple next to us had a "Happy birthday" song and cake a few days ago.
  12. Almost at Paradise Harbor, we got below 64 degrees 55 minutes South through the Lamaire Channel and are now on a heading of 33 degrees in the Gerlache Strait
  13. We are north of Brabant Island and Anvers Island, -63.67 S, 63.33 W
  14. Looks like we are going to have driveby's of Joinville Island and Elephant Island in addition to the published Antarctica itinerary. If so, perhaps it is by special request of someone special, who can make such requests. 😇, I'll keep everyone posted. We should be passing the Antarctic convergence zone in a few hours, halfway across the Drake with just minor rocking in 10-12 foot seas. It's a beautiful day with blue skys and Albtrosses accompanying Marina. Should be in the Antarctic Penninsular by 10:00am tommorow ship time.
  15. In theory there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice there is. A thing that has never happened is not vanishingly rare, it is nonexistent. It is utterly absurd to pretend otherwise.
  16. I'm actually impressed by the internet on the Marina in Drakes Passage, my apologies for the positivity.
  17. the light blue is 2-3 meter wave height. It's a bit bouncy but not too bad.
  18. We arrived at 9:30am although we were orginally scheduled for an 11:00am arrival. Our departure time is a half hour earlier than scheduled. Net +1 hour, but I'm sure someone will find a reason to complain about it.
  19. In the Beagle Channel about 10 miles from Ushuaia, lots more snow in the Fjords this morning.
  20. As you might imagine, I've seen many sheep being sheared, in fact I may have even done a few myself. I prefer excursions that don't replicate my work at home 😉
  21. No tour today in Punta Arenas, I did walk around for a couple of hours. It's a bit tired looking and didn't have attractions I found of interest.
  22. As a lawnguylander, I resemble that remark.
