  1. From what I have read on here that would suggest the bid has been unsuccessful. Regarding the embarkation time, in the US anyway it doesn't have to be adhered to. Just turn up and they will let you on, I would assume its the same in the UK don't quote me though. Out of interest, where is the 1 night cruise to and how much did it cost?
  2. Oh really, we are only Bella, does that mean we wont get offered them at all does anyone know?
  3. Oh really, ours is the 3rd Feb so will have to keep an eye out. What were the prices and what ship out of interest please?
  4. I find it hard to believe that MSC (or any mainstream cruise line for that matter) would be knocking out food comparable to Michelin star restaurant, it takes a lot to gain 1 star never mind 2. Every dish has to be perfection every single time and from what I have read/seen that is certainly not the case.
  5. Interesting. Not really relevant to drivers now, i'll just pop in this 3 star £400 a head restaurant for a spot of lunch while passing 😂
  6. The same company, no idea why they review high end restaurants 😂
  7. I've never sailed in YC but comparable to a one or two star Michelin restaurant? Surely not
  8. Just thinking, do they serve food in the sports bar on embarkation day? What time is the buffet actually open on embarkation day?
  9. Yeah we aren't YC so this wont be an option unfortunately. Thinking about it, its a bit crazy with the limited food options as it is that they only have the buffet open for what is it on Seascape 5-6k people.
  10. I'm sure the wife and kids will be on that as soon as we step on 😂
  11. Yeah I've heard it is different on MSC, does everyone do it together or can you do it at your leisure (obviously in a certain timeframe though)
  12. From what I have read this is what I plan to do once we are on board our first MSC cruise. 1. Check what time our dinner reservation is and if we want to try and change it head to the main dining room and speak to them. 2. Go and make and speciality restaurant reservations. As we are doing a 2 week b2b will we need to wait until the following week to make them for the second week? 3. Register a credit card for room charges. (I'm sure I have read you go to a machine and register your card, or have I made that up?) 4. Have a little wander and get a drink. Anything else of any importance I should plan on doing as soon as we are on?
  13. Sorry, yes Ocean Cay 🤦‍♂️ Thanks,
  14. On Cooc Cay for our upcoming Feb cruise it is showing as $169, I could be wrong but sure I have seen it much cheaper. What have people paid for it in the past and is there any chance of it coming down in price?
  15. We have one browse package included within the fare, is it possible to upgrade it to browse and stream?
  16. Attached are a few posted from another user from Seaside.
  17. From the menus I have seen it varies night to night depending on the theme. one night a week they have steak and lobster on the Gala night.
