  1. Thanks. it wasn't so much the $5 charge as I wouldn't get two entrees but was a bit disappointed when i saw the reduced Comfort Classics selections. Just have to wait and see I guess.
  2. If you do a dummy booking and go through to the section where it lets you select your cabin, would the website show you everything available or just a select number of cabins? Some categories are only showing 1 cabin number available on each deck, is that how MSC do it, or does it mean its pretty much sold out?
  3. There were some posts a few months ago regarding the MDR menus, in that the daily classics had been reduced (no NY strip, plus other reduced items) and also a $5 charge for more than one entrΓ©e. Is this still the case does anyone know? Just I was watching @CruisingWalter food review video and it seemed to be the old menus but I couldn't see when he had cruised.
  4. I'm not sure myself, but keen to know as we will be there next June.
  5. Oh really, this will be our first time in YC and we booked 16, thought it made sense to be on the top sail lounge deck, walk out your room, straight in the bar πŸ˜€
  6. I was just looking at what deluxe suites were available in YC on Virtuosa on a 2024 sailing, nothing on 14, only 2 on 15 but loads on 16 and 18. Are the lower decks more popular in YC?
  7. Would they have been in Europe?
  8. great, the kids have th minors package so they will be able to use them πŸ‘
  9. Thanks, so I take from that there are a few other soft served machines dotted about the *****?
  10. thanks, so if you didnt have the minors package, you would have to pay for this?
  11. I was under the impression that you were unable to get free soft serve ice cream on MSC but have just read on another thread that it is included on the minors package. My question is, where on Seascape would the kids be able to get soft serve? Thanks in advace.

That would be less than ideal, think we would end up in the buffet most nights if that was the case which on a 14 night cruise would not be great. I guess we will just have to see what happens.

We are on Bella on our first MSC cruise in Feb, if you are assigned a late seating is there any chance of getting it moved do you know? Our youngest is 9 and wouldn't fancy waiting until gone 10pm before eating.
  14. Are you allowed to bring these on board? As we are from the UK, instead of bringing multiple travel adaptors as I believe there are two US and two European sockets in each cabin, I was thinking to bring a 4 socket extension lead but I have something in the back of my mind that these are banned on cruise ships and people have had them taken off them on boarding.
  15. Not a lot no, just 4. Since posting though we have actually booked YC for next June, so will come back to you after with my opinion.
  16. Think we have made that mistake, booked YC for next June, usually out of our budget but got a really good deal for just me and the wife (usually would be with our two daughters). How will we ever go back to the cheap seats πŸ˜‚πŸ˜πŸ˜‚πŸ˜
  17. Yeah thanks for that, we matched it when we booked Seascape with our RC one, Silver I think we got. We got 10% off both cruises which is really good I thought, also got $100 on board credit on the Caribbean one.
  18. We are new to MSC (4 previous RC cruises), sailing on Seascape in Feb out of Miami for a 14 night cruise, myself, the wife and two daughters. It is our wedding anniversary next July and there is a 5 night cruise out of Southampton that falls near the date, we were planning on a few nights on one of the Balearics but saw this cruise, when I looked the YC fell in our budget, got the go ahead from the grandparents (babysitters πŸ˜‚) so booked it. Very excited as YC would usually be out of our budget.
  19. So being Bella, if we don't get offered a packaged before sailing how much can we expect to pay once on board for say a 2 or 3 restaurant package? Is it likely to be significantly more than the prices shown above?
  20. Exactly, I am looking to buy one but if I have to wait until I get onboard and they are expensive, I wont bother.
  21. I'm thinking 16 as it is the same as Top Sail lounge, never sailed in YC so hoping for a bit of advice. Thanks in advance.
  22. So we might not get offered any then looking at that. I'm guessing they will be considerably more expensive to book them once on board?
