  2. Has anyone ever ordered this as a solo cruiser?? I've been considering it. But I wonder if I get food for two or food for one at half price?? I'll certainly check after I get on board but was wondering if anyone had already done this... ETA: And any input on the deluxe balcony breakfast would also be appreciated!
  3. BTW, I do notice (on the App) that 'NEW - Room Service Delivery' is not there like it is on the Personalizer 'Upgrade now' link. I'm assuming that's because activation of Ocean Now includes RS delivery (if you don't use the phone...) Or have I screwed that up too??
  4. I think you meant the app...love that autocorrect... Anyhow, I get you...and hope you are right. The verbage is horrible. As always, I'll adopt a wait and see on this. But like I said, I'll make due either way. I'm pretty sure it'll take a few weeks to get all parts in some manner of in sync with one another. And we all know that has not been the IT strong point ever... ETA: Yes, drilling down to the T&C from your link to the new 'updated' Plus, the verbage is the same...the 15 drink limit is for alcohol bevs... 👍
  5. Oh my goodness. I hadn't noticed until you pointed it out. I think it's pretty clear. 15 'beverages' is the limit...alcohol or not. (except for juices and sodas which still don't count...lol...) Good catch. Still, for me, it's okay. If nothing else, I'll make sure I use my limit every day...by stocking up on water and beer that I don't use on any particular day.
  6. As long as you remember to DL the update...lol... Yep, it's there today... But would like to see the update on the Cruise Personalizer...(travel summary, etc...) I have a couple months yet though...

  8. Glad to hear they are getting around to updating the bookings. I'm assuming you are referring to your Travel Summary and/or the Onboard Services chart when you say the booking was updated to reflect the new additions?? I show what you posted when I click on the Upgrade button and it also shows $60 and Purchased. However, my Travel Summary and Onboard Services chart do not yet reflect the new additions. But I do expect that they will be by my October sailing... ETA: I purchased this booking in June 2023 so again, should be good...

  11. And that is also very true. And there will be no 'grace' for those with NRD and/or are past final pay date. And there be no compensation (ie OBC) for not getting what you paid for.
  12. BTW, that line they used on you was the line they used on me last week...and I quote: "We’re confident this change will provide a more enjoyable cruise vacation." But what they changed for me was they cut two hours off shore time in Key West (I have never been there...) saying "made for operational efficiencies." I didn't lose a whole port! Yes, it's a "slight adjustment" but don't newspeak me that less time in port (or no time in port in your case) will provide a more enjoyable cruise vacation... We are the only ship in port that day. Now back to today's regularly scheduled program...

  14. Believe me...he's not kidding...just has no empathy for the 'junior class' of anything...he's been on ignore almost from the get go...but I saw his absolutely completely offensive post because you quoted it. Ugh.
  15. Yep, same here. Booked a Magic Carpet Sky Suite last week so my wife could experience having a butler & dining in Luminae. And no refundable deposit of course. I'm still considering canceling it and eating the deposit...as well as canceling another X cruise in Sept. 2024...which is not a suite and has a refundable deposit...
  16. That is precisely what I see in mine, too. I booked mine on June 4th this year. Figure I should get the new stuff. I have a little over 2 months before the cruise sails...hopefully I will get an update before then...
  17. Geesh...as I post and lurk amongst the various cruise line forums, the song remains the same...with an increasing volume and rapidity. Give nothing, take away things people like, and use newspeak to say how much better things are with the changes. They treat us like we're morons. This kind of behavior does nothing to promote loyalty. But it is obvious that loyalty only means something in our minds...certainly not theirs. Their actions speak much, MUCH, louder than their words. To be clear though, X is not the only one promoting this crap...
