After that, I filled up my tank, since my street is blocked off from the direct route to the Quick Trip. I also stopped by the liquor store for the same reason, but I'm not opening anything tonight... Going into the last big three day weekend of the summer, which this year, means absolutely nothing. I did bandy about the idea of heading down to South Georgia to at least put my foot in the ocean before it's too late. I haven't totally ruled it out, but with everything else going on, I probably won't go.

 

My landlord is under the impression that I'm going to be out by mid or late September, but I hate to break the news to her that it's not likely... I guess at that point, she'll have to go ahead and give me the official 45 day notice to vacate, in writing...

HMU if you head to South Georgia. I can see it from my house 🤣

Anyone have thoughts on smokers?  Thinking about getting one and have no idea what to get, how to do it, etc.  I don't really have a good electricity source for my deck but could run something from the garage or the side of the house.
