    two hours from getting to terminal to getting on ship. There were people exitining when we walked in tho

    Got up this morning, and had some breakfast and had a 10:30 check in time. Got to the port at 10:20 and found that they let everybody go in.

    We got to our hotel (Renaissance). Nice hotel, but pricey. Took a little nap and when we were kind of (not real hungry) we ate in the lobby, crashed for the night.

    so when we landed we had transfer to Long Beach. The day was kind of crappy.

    Our last cruise of the year, this one on the far coast and we chose this for the guy traveling with us. Some might remember some past reviews where “Sam” joined us on the Horizon, Pride, and Mardi Gras. This one included a flight. first class on delta ain’t so bad. Sam slept most of the way.

    So I see there is already another “live” thread, so I will cut back some. Come join us as we take our 92 year old neighbor Sam on his 4th Carnival Cruise.

    It is somewhat paradoxical that the remake of the Love Boat will have Carnival’s most recognized cruise director as the cruise director on the show.
