  1. lol, I know right! Anything else great other than the lobster roll? I'm definitely gonna try that. After all these years of cruising, I always forget Seafood Shack while onboard. We were just talking about it at dinner the other day, wondering if it's worth it.
  2. Lee Mason is definitely one of my top 2 CDs. Very engaging with everyone, funny, and seems to be everywhere having fun. Haven't sailed with Georgia Craig before, so no opinion on him.
  3. But, where do you put your sodas?? lol.. Seriously though, that's a good idea! Especially when it's quite a few boarding together. I forgot to mention, once when leaving out of Galveston, they made us open the cases of soda, and they took them out to check, then put them back in the cases. Sure would've been nice for us if we had that extra roller suitcase then.
  4. As mentioned, carry on. As wasn't mentioned, it's 'soda'. I'm kidding btw. I do normally pack my wine in my backpack, but one cruise out of Miami, they said I couldn't have it in my backpack, and had to carry it. Didn't bother me, but after so many cruises before and since carrying in my backpack, I learned to be prepared.
  5. Stole the words out of my mouth.....or off my keyboard.
  6. That was our negative too. And the fact that our suite's balcony had no ceiling, meaning folks in the cabins above us just looked right down on us. I can't blame Carnival, cuz we should've did a little more research on the suite we booked. Now that we know, we've booked different suites.
  7. Unless it's a new rule, I would say Mr. Heald is correct. The last several cruises we've taken (all the way up to this past November), we were NOT in an accessible cabin, with my wife using a scooter or wheelchair.
  8. This!! Yes, do this!! Can't wait till our grandkids get old enough, cuz I'm telling ALL!!
  9. We stayed in a Family Harbor Suite on the Horizon (and the same type on the Vista). Neither time was the full bottom bed able to be separated. As far as the noise, we've decided not to ever stay under the kitchen again. The only time I didn't wake up multiple time through the night was the very first night. My wife would usually sleep through every loud noise you could think of, but on the Horizon she kept waking up to it through the night. Made for a lot of unplanned napping throughout the daytime.
  10. Normally when you're onboard is when you'll see it. Lately, when I give a client OBC, I find it easier/quicker to just purchase cruise cash to their account. It shows up in their order history prior to their cruise. I've had more than a couple cruisers call and tell me they see it prior to their cruise.
  11. Yes, in the designated smoking areas. Tell him to make sure he has enough Vape juice to last though, cuz I've yet to see any sold onboard. Who knows if they have juice in ports.
  12. We did Thanksgiving on the Mardi Gras in 2021, and LOVED it! Have fun! Hopefully this one will be just as memorable.
  13. I swear, it was down to 100 days just a couple of weeks ago. Never been on the Vista, but we've been on several other Carnival cruises. All the documents are printed, organized, and ready to go. Every bit of clothing is out and ready to be packed!
  14. Luggage tag and I think boarding pass. Now, don't make the same mistake we made on our very first cruise (we had no idea what we were doing back then). We printed everything out early, then closer to sail date, we snagged FTTF, but didn't reprint everything. Due our ignorance, ended up missing out on Priority Boarding. Lesson learned, and we took ownership of that mistake.
  15. I'm happy for you! Jealous, but still happy!! Enjoy your cruise!
  16. I see it in my inbox now. I swear, Carnival trying to set me up, and give me no excuse for not booking the excursion again.
  17. It was everything I booked at the same time that I purchased the 'glitch' package. The other excursion I had booked months ago was still there.
  18. Mine was there this morning, now it's gone. All good. They cancelled everything I ordered at that time though; cases of water, wifi, excursion, etc. Cool thing is, I didn't wanna do the particular excursion anyway, so I'll wait till we cruise in November to tell the wife the excursion she wanted was cancelled....yall wish me luck!
  19. This is true, I would call Carnival and ask. I've had to change names for others, Carnival says it's $50 before final payment, $100 after final payment. However, I changed one recently after final payment, and it was still only $50..so if you have to change, you may get lucky.
  20. Got that right, I can't wait! Somebody mentioned "14 weeks", don't know if that sounds better, but I still like it!
  21. 100 more days until we're on the Vista! Our 9th cruise with Carnival. For some reason, the 100 day mark has always been a huge checkpoint, as the days tend to fly by (up until we get in the single digits at least). 100 days is when we start narrowing down all plans that haven't been made, start dieting (at least i do) to get ready to overdue it with the food onboard, and start ordering/buying all the little things we wish we had on our last cruise. Got a Family Harbor Suite again, so I plan to fully utilize the Family Harbor Lounge and spend hours on the cove balcony. Visiting Amber Cove and Puerto Rico again, which we love both ports. Never been to St. Maarten or St. Thomas (been on my bucket list for a couple years now), so that definitely adds to the excitement.
  22. Definitely wouldn't leave anything outside the stateroom. Several times we've been able to just drop our stuff off in the room in the room steward is there. If not, just had to carry it around, so we pack pretty light.
