  1. Thank you so much, I appreciate your help. I’m not sure why search results show two different schedules for BOS.
  2. I’m submitting this here because it seems like the relevant thread, although I have posted separately (no replies yet). Brilliance of the Seas was originally scheduled for AUS/NZ in February 2024. We have a 12-nt cruise booked. Now I see that BOS is set to be in the Caribbean at that time. I only see Ovation in AUS/NZ now. Does this mean my cruise is going to be cancelled? Or moved to Ovation? Your insights and experience with this are greatly appreciated.
  3. Ok,I need to know more about this Dior eyeliner with miraculous lasting abilities! Would you kindly share the name of the product (extra points for a picture!).
  4. Yikes! We have a New Zealand cruise booked on BOS in February 2024. On looking at the schedule for Brilliance, I now find that she is not listed in AUS/NZ at that time. Indeed, she has bookings available in the Caribbean for February 2024. This was booked directly with RCI and I haven’t yet reached out to them. Before I freak out, does anyone have experience with this type of thing? Does it mean our cruise has been canceled (no word to us)? Or, that it will be transferred to another ship with same dates & itinerary? We are really looking forward to this Bucket List trip!
  5. Here is their contact info. You can go to their website and send a message there as well. We have several excursions booked with them for May.
  6. This article reports that Iran is planning to install a naval presence in the Panama Canal, in an escalation of conflict with the US. It apparently wants to establish itself in Latin America. We were hoping to cruise the PC for the first time in 2025, as a bucket list trip. We will certainly have to see how this plays out before making any plans. What are your thoughts on this? Would this be a deterrent to cruising the Panama Canal? https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/iran-vows-to-station-warships-in-the-panama-canal-after-building-ties-with-latin-american-dictators/ar-AA16f9Ig
  7. I found this: Speaking to Newsweek, a spokesperson for the Royal Caribbean mentioned that on 3 January, Harmony of the Seas reportedly saw a raft at sea and then manoeuvred to offer assistance. This manoeuvre caused the water from the pool deck to go over into the vessel’s lower deck unexpectedly.
  8. It would be better to delay your cruise and save for the full experience with excursions than to go, sit on the boat and miss everything. While the scenery is beautiful, you will not truly appreciate Alaska until you go on the excursions and see all it has to offer.
  9. Is there a flyer available for new deployment, same as the Going Going Gone? We’re looking to do a Panama Canal cruise in 2025 but nothing is available yet. I’m hoping to book as soon as it opens up so I can select the suite or cabin that I really want.
  10. That’s an excellent idea and probably would have saved my spa experience from their sales pitch, which I did not enjoy!
  11. well obviously, you have to pay extra for such a unique water feature!🤣🤣🌊🌊
  12. I did a full body treatment (massage) on Radiance in June. They were offering a good price on board during a port day. I felt the service was very good, but I wasn’t prepared for the heavy-handed sales pitch afterwards. She honestly was so persistent and made it seem like my health was at stake if I didn’t purchase all the recommended products! That was a huge turnoff for me and really affected my experience. I don’t think I would book another treatment for just that reason.
  13. Apparently, the pool on Harmony has massively overflowed, causing a waterfall and slight flooding. Reports vary as to cause, either because of hitting a massive wave or due to an evasive maneuver to avoid hitting a raft. Crazy!
  14. I wasn’t sure about that, so it helps to know the sites are near each other. I think that’s what we’ll do. It seems a lot less stressful than worrying about how the morning is going to go. Thank you!
  15. So very helpful! Thank you so much for the detailed information. We are, indeed, on Royal Caribbean. Our first cruise departs from Rome, then turnaround day in Ravenna, and second cruise ending in Ravenna (we then will spend a few days in Venice, booking a private transfer). Hmmm, I may just plan to do the Rick Steves walking tour of the mosaics rather than committing to a tour that must begin at a specific time. I really appreciate your expertise!
  16. We’re doing our first B2B in May with the changeover in Ravenna, arriving at 6:00 am. I’m interested in booking a guided tour of Ravenna’s mosaics that would begin at 10:00 am. But, I have no experience with how this works, as far as continuing the cruise and leaving/returning to the ship on this day. Any advice & helpful tips would be appreciated!
  17. How about changing your flights to fly in a day or two early, just in case? Way easier than driving all that way
  18. We’re on Liberty in February, our first time on this ship. I’m looking forward to your review!
  19. My refunds from Nov. 18th just posted to my credit card overnight 🎉🎉
  20. okay, taking notes on the water taxi! I did not know about that as an option, thank you
  21. Thank you, that’s so helpful! Never been to Nassau before and I didn’t know how easy/expensive it was to get a taxi.
  22. This is offered as a shore excursion for $205 pp. Atlantis also has day passes available for $95 pp. The ship’s excursion includes transportation, so I’m leaning towards that. But the description states it’s only for 5 hours (if you stay longer, you’re responsible for your way back to the ship) and we’re in port from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. It also doesn’t make mention of beach access, which worries me. Does anyone have experience with the shore excursion at Aquaventure? Thank you for your help!
  23. We were on Radiance this past June. In ISP, we booked a whale watching excursion with Glacier Wind. There were 8 people on the boat plus the captain it was the best excursion! Because of the small group, the captain could slow down depending on what we were interested in and he really made it a great experience. And they serve very good hot cocoa!
