I agree 100%. Also I don't believe anyone who tells me there is a staff shortage. NCL is doing this because they are hurting for money!!! Check out their quarterlies.

Yes, give everyone the option to clean their own room and save that money off the cruise price. If you are a family of 4 with to small ones, that is a savings of $80 a day. You can have a certain area to get new towels and bath items if you prefer to go this route.

On the joy we needed to get reservations for the comedians. Do you need to get reservations for Headliners and the comedians on the Breakaway? Or is it first come first served.

I am not sure you can answer this seeing you are in the Haven. Do you know if with all the changes happening with NCL, if you can still get a coffee maker put in your room if you are in a club balcony suite.

On my last cruise, my cabin steward told me that he spends 3 months in a row on the ship, because the money was so good. He also said, he had 2 daughters, and he put them both through college, working for NCL!!!

I have the answer to NCL's problem. Give each cabin the option to clean their own room. They can pick up towels at one location, just like at the pool where they hand out towels. garbage can be taken to another location. Then no one will have the right to complain. I wonder how many people would do this to save $500 off their cruise.

LMAO!!! They are not giving them a raise, They are doing twice as much work. Now if I am helping to pay for their salary, then they need to listen to me and turn down my bed down at night. I really don't care about turning my bed down,but if I am paying part of their salary,I should have that option!!

When you go to the super market you see the total price of the eggs. You do not see a discounted price on the box, then get to the cashier and see you have to pay a service charge. The price is exactly what you see on the carton for the eggs.

That is exactly what I do. I do the same thing when I go out to a restaurant. I put $0 for a tip on the bill and leave cash on the table.

I was on the Bliss last May, and they had to turn around because of ice. Before they made the call to turn around, we went past a couple. I think the biggest part of the iceberg was under the water.

So what you are saying is my 80 dollars a day room charge is for the cleaning peoples salaries? So I don't need to tip them anymore as I am already paying part of their salary. I am already paying gratuities for the restaurant staff when I book the cruise. I do not mind tipping and I tip very well but I don't think I am going to do both or at least not as much anymore after raising the price per person, per day, and cutting part of the service. $560 for a 7 day cruise is a lot of money plus tip.
