  1. @Dairbear01 thanks, we will likely do a lot of walking around on our own. Just doing excursions if there is a “must see” that is too far away to walk!
  2. Discovering the Arctic's Wildlife & Remote Landscapes (T2417) - 19/07/2024 Summertime Norwegian Fjords (T2418) - 15/08/2024 Discovering Asia with the Holi Festival (L2502) - 18/01/202
  3. Same price, longer itinerary would be my choice. check out the obstructed view cabins here https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/ov.php?ship=Crown-Princess&cabins=E101-E121 some are hardly obstructed, might not be able to see to the sides or down, but a good view straight out. We have stayed in them and they are great.
  4. Princess do the world cruises from Brisbane in the middle of the year. This one leaves London on 30th July and arrives in Brisbane on Sept 28th. It is for 2025, but the run it every year https://www.princess.com/cruise-search/details/?voyageCode=3514A&fareType=BESTFARE
  5. If the cruise is sold as 2 segments of 7 days. You will get a set up for each segment. It doesn’t matter if you booked as 7 day b2b or a single 14 day
  6. Here is a link to the new brochure. https://indd.adobe.com/view/d1429bc1-d64d-41ae-88b0-3bc2dde4db52 Open for bookings on 25th April
  7. @Oakman58 which kettle to you bring that has been allowed on board?
  8. It will show all future cruises, but usually takes a few days after the booking until they show up
  9. You should be able to book after you have made final payment. Elite and Platinum loyalty levels can book as soon as they book the cruise.
  10. We bought Eitt Sett from a local gas station, then had to look for more in the next port……. It was chocolate covered and delicious
  11. Thanks @vino100 and @OccasionalSanta We have a comedy cruise booked (for the itinerary) and I didn’t know what to expect.
  12. @vino100 how did the comedy cruise go? Pros and cons? thanks
  13. We use gigsky, although we have not been to the Caribbean it has good packages for most areas https://www.gigsky.com/
  14. There are no excursions showing for our Panama Canal on the Island next year. We are doing a B2B and the previous cruise has excursions!
  15. @twotravellersLondon thank you, this was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to have an idea of what might be offered for excursions and what we could see on our own. thank you
  16. @tring thank you for your reply and suggestions. I didn’t think to check other cruise line offerings. Nice to hear the costs on Fred May be more competitive
  17. @Buffalo Boaters we were speaking to Princess this week. So frustrating, still no Machu Picchu refund (our cruise was before yours). We were told they were “still working on what to give everyone”. They asked us to send in the letter we received on board stating we would get $1500 usd as a fcc (scanned and sent in). And we again wait …………
  18. We have booked our first Fred Olsen cruise for July next year. I know the excursions won’t be available until much nearer the sailing, but I’m a planner. Does anyone have any idea what sort of excursions may be offered? These are the ports we will be visiting ST. JOHN'S, CANADA HALIFAX, CANADA CORNER BROOK, CANADA RED BAY, CANADA L'ANSE AUX MEADOWS, CANADA NUUK, GREENLAND NANORTALIK, GREENLAND NARSARSUA, GREENLAND REYKJAVÍK, ICELAND Thanks
  19. Thanks, that explains why I was struggling to find anything.
  20. We have just booked our first Fred Olsen cruise. I know the excursions won’t be available to book until much nearer to the cruise, but is there any way to see what might be offered and at what cost?
  21. Does anyone know when Ambassador will release the cruises for the rest of 2024 and into 2025?
