  1. Think they still ask you the “have you felt sick in the last 24 hours”….I seem to remember this.
  2. It’s a big business and fluid. My wife and I were chatting about it, we love Alfredo’s but would an O’malleys make more sense having free pizza with Slice by the pool? Man, I hope that band sticks around!
  3. First, I’m a tshirt and shorts kind of guy who was lucky and retired early than expected. Hate being pampered or pretentious about things. We’ve sailed with others and had some older friends invite us to cruise with them about 10 years ago. We never felt so “relaxed” on a cruise before. We have done a few with other lines since but we “missed” that low key relaxation and the look of Princess. I will say either we are getting older faster or customers are getting younger. I’ve not got jammed in the back of an elevator by rabid wheelchair drivers in a few years! You can have lots of fun but not really a party cruise. If you want to be waited on hand and foot, that’s there too! Enjoy it immensely!
  4. Won’t be applicable until a week or so out from sailing. Had some great movies and some not so great. Love MUTS…when it’s bearable. Alaska cruises are the best bring an additional blanket! Just catch someone the here on the previous cruise…best way.
  5. We’re on an early January cruise on Sky, hopefully band stays on! As a native upstate NYer (not to be confused with NYC, I learned to play golf in my bare feet), pizza is my kryptonite! We love Alfredo’s, but we always go premium so most changes don’t effect us, some actually helped. It may be working exactly as planned…to free up space?
  6. Big brother knows if you watch it or not, the announcements of the naughty list will start around 2pm! 😂
  7. Definitely. We lived in Vegas for 9 years…momma needs a new pair of shoe’s! Just adds some fun to the day…
  8. It comes with Premier but you can purchase separately. Last cruise we won about $100 of on board credit but usually the grand prize is a free cruise announced during the cruise. I think it’s $20 a day… I just have to beat my wife to the door to keep her honest!
  9. Just one of those topics that affects people differently. If I have it, I enjoy it…if not, make do.
  10. @Incognito1I could see a scam about a cantina scamming passengers so they get paid cash…and tips. Bring it back up to Princess? Be curious what they said or did.
  11. Our last time on Regal, Apple devices got severely throttled for two days. PITA but cafe was honest about it and told us how long it would be down…our droid tablet was fine.
  12. A convenience device for rooms, location finding and payment tracking. No personal information is stored in medallion, it’s a way to track friends and to have orders sent to you, pay for things if you shop on ship and gets you into your room.
  13. My wife doesn’t drink that much at all but don’t stand between her and the Smooth Sailings at Wakeview bar. Love the medallion, we would walk up and immediately you would hear Smooth Sailing for the lady and you sir? The medallion always knows….and I discovered Mojitos without sugar!
  14. We always get the thermal spa and have never founded it crowded. I’ve been hearing different lately, let us know. We usually don’t even use it until 7pm or so….enjoy your cruise!
  15. Happens during our cruise, mix replies to wether it will be bothersome. We shall see!
  16. Go to the Yes/No show, always a good time!
  17. We head out in January and booked for Premier. Some things won’t be worth it like the alcohol upgrade but really can’t see worrying about what we can and can not do for our time away. So looking forward to the next cruise….
  18. Medallion is like a key, that’s all. I’ve kept a few, wanted to “play” with them. I believe they are passive rfid’s, meaning they contain no battery but energize when they are near a device. I also believe Singapore is where they are made. My only complaint is last two cruises they did not arrive in time and had to obtain another one at port. This in turn required us to go to help desk to get “re-read” due to certain issues.
  19. Go toward the Cabanas, some have Wi-Fi antenna’s hooked to ship Wi-Fi.
  20. We won 3x for $50 each time last cruise. Having lived in Vegas for 9 years, odds are not in your favor but enjoy the excitement when we approach the room. I believe a free trip is awarded to contestants per cruise.
