Reduced offerings onboard from OceanNow food delivery.

Just shows that when they launched it, they didn't appreciate what the demand was going to be. It was always going to be hard to keep up people ordering things, especially when many seem to move away from where they were and staff have to hunt them down. If they keep reducing the offerings, there won't really be much point in having the medallion app at all, just as well have a door access card, and be done with it. -
It looks as though they have reduced the offerings available to order via the app onboard, presumably since the package changes. No longer got the crisps, the nachos/guacamole, and pizza is up to $8.50.

We booked the 24 night Canada cruise for next month many months ago at a 30% off loyalty price. Since then, the price has dropped for non loyalty customers to less than the loyalty price.

How did you get from ship into Boston? Is there a shuttle? We are there in October. -

Never seen any promotions on bottles of wine when we've been onboard. -

Avge price for 2 people - one bottle of wine $60, one each spec coffee $20, grats $32, one each cocktails $25, at just that level you are almost at the cost. In fact, it's more than the cost of plus package where you could have those drinks with wine by the glass instead of the bottle. -

The issue isn't the beverage packages though but the plus/premier packages which are different. -

Yes, ableit not yet updated. I contacted the app people about it not showing on the app and they came up with all sorts of excuses, none of which made any sense (latest app update - done, age of phone - new, uninstall, reinstall - done) and eventually said it doesn't matter! -

And we don't have a package showing on the app at all, although we should -
She told me that she has been in that office for 23 years and that she knows how it works!
-
Precisely what I told her but she wasn't having it at all. When I said differently, she pretty much said that if anybody said otherwise on social media they misunderstood what they were saying! I told her that we'd previously had Military OBC refunded and that it showed as such onboard in the folio but again she didn't believe me. I asked her if she thought I was lying!
-
I just had an interesting conversation with a lady at Investor Relations who tried to assure me that nobody gets their Shareholders OBC applied more than 90 days pre-cruise, for any brand, in any country. She also insisted that Military OBC on Princess is not and never has been refundable.

Upgrading may make sense on a 7 day cruise but it's less so on a longer cruise. -

Funnily enough, I don't screenshot websites when booking a holiday. Maybe I need to start doing so -

I would question whether you are on the payroll or planted to try to appease those who are dissatisfied. However, you will never convince me that it is acceptable or ethical. You may roll over but I will not -

Their advertising quite clearly said that Alfredo's was free, as was room service. Hence they are not providing what was offered. Where do you draw the line? Next they might charge for the buffet or the MDR. I am not arguing about a specific product in Alfredo's but the whole venue. They can change the pizza toppings but not free access to the venue. -

Sorry, but I disagree. I bought and paid for something that I am no longer receiving. I am a shareholder from a financial background. However you want to put it, I am no longer receiving what I was sold. Not only thing that but they have not had the decency to tell me. -

Precisely, so where is the value in upgrading? -

And that's is what they want you to do ? Are you going to utilise it every day? If not, where is the value in upograding? -

I get your point but the crew costs and fuel costs are the same, regardless. We are at sea for 14/15 days so would have used Alfredo's more than twice, especially if the weather is poor on the transatlantic crossings to New England/Canada. The pool deck offerings aren't going to be an appealing alternative at all if so (not that I normally use them as I like to be served my food). How is serving all the people who would have gone to Alfredo's in the MDR instead going to save money?
