Ok, so I have 2 cabins booked for our upcoming cruise - both booked by me from my Carnival account, and both with different amounts of OBC. I've used all the OBC from my cabin on a shore excursion and specialty dining. The second cabin (in my wife's name) still has its full amount of OBC remaining. I've just been trying to add some stateroom gifts and other purchase using this second room's OBC, but it's not letting me apply this to my cart total. Only getting a payment by credit card/gift card option. How am I able to "access" our secondary cabin's OBC to pre-purchase items from my account? Is that even possible?? Or does my wife have to make the purchases from her own Carnival account since that secondary cabin has her listed as the primary occupant? Also...if I ultimately don't prepay for anything further, will that remaining OBC be used to pay our gratuities (for both cabins) at the end of our cruise? TIA!

You can't prepay gratuities using OBC though, correct? I was just trying to see if that was possible, and there didn't seem to be a payment option for it.

Yea I just noticed the "upgrade" offer for mine in my booking manager. Offered to upgrade my adjoining cove balcony rooms to random deck 9 ones. Nope. 🙂

Do you need to make reservations for lunch or is it walk-in/first come first served?

Anyone know if my son would be allowed to bring his Traveler guitar (a scaled-down Fender made for travel) onboard our upcoming Horizon cruise? He would strictly be playing this in our cabin, through headphones, so it would not really be of any disturbance to fellow passengers. Thanks!

Thanks for this. Been debating on whether to use the RCI chat for our upcoming cruise. Seems hit or miss, and I really don't want to pay the exorbitant prices for the zoom packages. I think I might attempt to go completely phoneless and trust our kids to adhere to old-fashioned verbal instructions 🙂
