  1. It’s in the directory somewhere or possibly on a card left in the room - can’t remember exactly. Yep - great idea. I used it every day for dinner wine order - and it worked ! Not sure when it was introduced.
  2. Telephone number (line) to order your wine
  3. It’s possible to make calls and texts over the internet without a sim - WiFi calling - text can be received and sent via iCloud if you have iPhone . Your phone may have an e-sim built in if it’s not too old - that’s probably how the SOS call works. What phone is it and model ? all phones have either an e-sim built in or a SIM card slot or both.
  4. Transatlantic is great - did Southampton to Barbados via Azores and Barcelona to Barbados via canaries and cape Verdi. loved the Azores - love to do again some time.
  5. Yes that’s classed as fully vaccinated - original 2 plus 1 booster regardless of how long ago. (Probably because extra boosters were not pushed out to everyone like the first one)
  6. Thanks for posting jessybell - I’m interested in peoples feedback - especially on Aurora and Arcadia as those are the 2 ships we always go on.
  7. Good to hear. Wish p&o did the same - consistently.
  8. Thankfully both ships are adults only now !!
  9. MB - Would you recommend MSC ? It’s not one I have thought about trying.
  10. People have had bad experiences and have genuine concerns about problems with drunk and or abusive behaviour. It doesn’t matter even if it just happened once - it is distressing for those concerned and would spoil the holiday. I sympathise and hope something is done about this as it’s becoming more frequent. To laugh it off is an insult to those affected.
  11. Dreadful - I would have seriously considered getting off next stop and flying home. Well done for not saying anything - that must have been difficult. I might have lost it.
  12. Can’t get the picture out of my head from the first definition in the urban dictionary - must be an Americanism😀
  13. Right - I’m going to assume it means a reference to lowering of standards - the etymology being cheesewheels were around once and replaced by an inferior product. thanks for replies - I will try and incorporate it in a post sometime !!!!!!!
  14. Yep I did that yesterday ! Bizarre
  15. I’m still none the wiser ! Is it an insult ? and if so why and how is it related to cheese ?
  16. Sorry - just new to me and I don’t understand the meaning !
  17. Can anyone explain what cheesewheel means ? Can’t find any etymology and I’ve never heard this expression !
  18. Going in May on Marella Explorer 2 to Croatia Italy and Greece - great itinerary . Will report back. I wish they did a few ex UK instead of always fly cruises - but like you said TUI are usually pretty good with flights and connections - in my experience anyway. But we did go on one ex uk one when cruising started again - again on Marella Explorer 2. Newcastle to Scotland immediately after Scotland allowed ships in again. It was brilliant - and the excursions were really well organised and top quality. Really nice welcome back from the crew and we were welcomed by pipers on arrival in Dundee.
  19. Incredible - the wedding fight !! Great start. Good to hear they were all ejected.
  20. Yes all inclusive - I’ve only been on Marella Explorer 2 which is adults only and it has always been very good. No problems so far. Excellent service - checkin and all bars and restaurants and good entertainment. Great staff. Very friendly and helpful. Never done a Christmas or New year though.
