  1. I didn't read all the pages here, but wouldn't it make no sense to have adults only because I saw that Carnival said that they want their ships to 110% so that would mean 3rd and 4th guests. Families would be a huge help there.
  2. Meaning that Splendor and Luminosa are in Australia together, but only Luminosa is seasonal after this summer
  3. Radiance would make more sense to move because Panorama would have to go back around Cape horn. That is assuming that it would be redeployed to the east coast but Panorama could just go to another West coast port. I'll be finished thinking of my 2024 fleet homeport plans soon Edit: I didn't see the above post before writing this, sorry for saying the same thing
  4. I think I could see Miracle in SF year round, there isn't a lot of room for 4 ships. It would also work out with the current cruises only being announced through April 2024 so Firenze could start in the summer when Miracle could go to SF without canceling any already announce cruises.
  5. Correct, and also the FSK Bridge. I wonder how big the ships would be if the bridges weren't a height restricter.
  6. But it wouldn't make sense to spend money for a dry dock and have it leave the fleet soon after. Fantasy was supposed to leave the fleet in 2022 (pre pandemic plans) and it's last dry dock was in 2019 Ecstasy will leave the fleet 3 years after it's previous dry dock Both were the same month 3 years later
  7. It might be worth mentioning that Elation has a dry dock in 2023 so I think that keeps it in the fleet through at least 2026
  8. I have been watching Ecstasy up for sale (Link wasn't working but I'll post it later)
  9. AIDAmira will be Ambassador Ambition Costa neoRomantica is being scrapped
  10. Not sure when china cruising will restart, but if it is a few years then it might be good to put Atlantica and Mediterranea in Carnival as Costa Ships (like Venezia and Firenze will be doing) for the time being
  11. Today Carnival announced that Costa Luminosa will join the Carnival fleet instead of Magica as previously announced. It will be renamed Carnival Luminosa and will cruise from Brisbane Australia from October to April and in Alaska😃 from May to September. Luminosa will join the fleet in November 2022 with some of the Carnival changes from Costa and get more of the Fun Ship 2.0 features later. This is exciting news for me and a lot more as I have been waiting for a announcement like this for awhile. (All of above is in my own words and not copyed)
  12. I was surprised when I saw this but it makes sense. also interesting that they kept the Luminosa name (swapped Costa with Carnival) very happy with the Alaska
  13. With a normal funnel, Freedom is 208 feet tall. I don't know how much height was taken off but I don't think enough when you compare it to Conquest there. Freedom should have its normal funnel look back by the next time Carnival switches homeports
  14. I don't mean it was transformed to a Carnival ship, but Carnival considers Magica as being in its fleet. This is also shown in the annual report. I don't think Sunshine will be scrapped. I went on it and it was spectacular!
  15. Check this out from Cruise Weekly: "Carnival to add second ship this year Carnival Cruise Line is making plans to deploy a second shipin the Australian market over the upcoming 2022/23 summer season, with the additional vesselexpected to operate out of the new Brisbane International Cruise Terminal. The move was confirmed by President & Chief Executive Officer Christine Duffy (pictured),who told Cruise Weekly she was excited about the Australian cruise restart and will be headingto Sydney for the already announced inaugural postpandemic Carnival Splendor departure on 02 Oct this year.Duffy wasn’t able to confirm exact details of the second ship, but the Carnival fleet is alreadyin the process of being expanded with the addition of the Costa Magica, which was transferredto Carnival about a month ago and is undergoing a brand transformation and refit. The new departures are not bookable yet, but Duffy hinted strongly the deployment wouldhappen “before the end of the year”.Australia continues to be a strong focus for the cruise line, despite it being forced totemporarily redeploy Carnival Splendor to Alaska due to the extended cruise ban imposed bythe Australian Government (CW 07 Feb)." [end] Costa Magica is a Carnival ship
  16. We have a theory that Magica will replace Miracle in San Francisco and Miracle goes to Australia. There is a board about it called "Costa Magica to the Carnival Fleet"
  17. Agree with both of you. What does everyone think of this name: Carnival Sky
  18. Carnival Ecstasy will leave the Carnival fleet in October. Does anyone know for sure the future because people have been saying that it will be scrapped but that might just be assumed. There is enough time for a cruise line to buy it. Of course my favorite future for the ship is for it to stay with Carnival but... maybe Margaritaville could buy it and they did say they would get more ships soon.
