Does this play a live view or just a still picture? This is pretty cool!!

Just a picture, they add one outside when the ships are transferred to there. Meyer Werft is the only one that has it so you can imagine how I felt when Jubilee was announced to be built there! The webcam is very cool! 😁

Does anyone know when bookings begin for Jubilee? We'd be very interested in doing a Transatlantic sailing if and when it's available.

Bookings were opened January 2022. There was a transatlantic plan originally but it had to be canceled due to shipyard delays.

  3. I was on a Cove balcony on Celebration earlier this year. Mid ship, wasn't really rocking and no salt. We booked one under the candy shop so there wouldn't be any noise but anywhere on deck 5 would be fine because we couldn't hear anything from above decks anywhere on the deck. Also I have hear from people who didn't hear any noise from the atrium show that was happening directly above their cabin.

  4. I think a world cruise is possible in the future. They really just need 2124 people interested for a Spirit class. For me, I have thought about if I want to do one but I would never really consider it until Carnival has one.

Costa Deliziosa does world cruises each year. But what if the Carnival Corp executives thought that it might sell better under Carnival?

I received an email for my end of April cruise saying boarding starts at 12:30. That is pretty late compared to what I remember pre-"C". I remember boarding as early as 10:30 - 11 o'clock. What has been people's experience with this? I have been hearing people getting arrival times at around 10am. That's a long time to wait to board. Are cabins still ready by 1:30pm?

For Celebration, we had an arrival of 10:30 to 11:00 but we were allowed into the terminal at 9:45. Boarding started at 10:45 and cabins were ready at 1:30. I don't know if that boarding time you got sent was wrong or if something is different from our cruise.

Do you guys think the Jubilee will be the last XL class ship built for Carnival?

I’m thinking that it will be. I think they will try to come up with something that is closer to matching Icon of the Seas.

    Thoughts?

I think it will be a new class. The Carnival Corp CEO said there wouldn't be any newbuilds after these (Jubilee -2023, Seabourn Pursuit -2023 Queen Anne -2024, Sun Princess -2024, Sphere 2 -2025) until at least 2027, and that's stretching it. From there it will have been 4-5 years since Jubilee and 7-8 years since Mardi Gras so I think the next new build would be a new class.
