We have booked this cruise since our Baltic got cancelled and was wondering if anyone has been on this cruise can suggest the best side of the ship to be on. Is most of the side just ocean? How about pulling into ports? Thanks!

Has anyone tried to sit 10 people at the Teppanyaki before? I see the pictures has 8 seats, but maybe you can add 2 on each of the ends? We have a group of 10 doing a celebration dinner and wanted to be together. Wondering if anyone in the past might be in the same predicament that our group is and "squeezed " in. If not any other specialty that you would have a 10 top for?
We just had 9 at our table. It looked like enough room to squeeze in one more person

My confirmation from port to Miami airport is $20 for the transfer so don't know about South Hampton..
I'm trying to find some decent car service from the airport to the hotel. Any recommendations? I booked one that was taxi2airport but their phone number is in the Netherlands!!

Has anyone experienced issues with their scheduled arrival boarding time on Carnival lately? What happens if you arrive later than your scheduled time. Will you have to wait until the very last minute to get onboard?
Thanks!

It has to be in cans. I think you're allowed up to 12 sealed cans of soda (or in your friend's case, iced tea) person.
Thanks!

I know you can bring wine onboard Carnival but my friend wants to know if she can you bring her own ice tea. Thanks

People on other cruise lines have said they are staffed served.

Carnival is self serve buffet
Thanks. What a shame. They are making everything so strict with all these protocols and then they have self serve?? What is wrong with them?

We were on the second cruise Panorama did after launch. I can say, in "normal times" the buffet was full of selections. I too don't care for buffet food, if we went there, I hit the sandwich station and had the caprese sandwich. Its a go to on all the cruise lines we've been on, always seems to be about the same no matter what line, and really hard to screw up. Hopefully, they still had the pretzel rolls somewhere! The absolute worse food I ever had was on Princess - their vegetarian burger on offer on the buffet was a cold patty made out of leftover mashed potatoes and peas. First thing I ever ate on Princess and started me out with a bad taste in my mouth 🙂Out of all the cruises I have been on, in my opinion, the MDR food on Princess was the worst. I thought the buffet food was better. However, on the Sunrise, I thought the dessert options where just about nil. Just had a few cakes and cookies. No pastries at all. The options on the 4 day Imagination had a lot more options than that. Was very disappointed. Other than that, the meals were good in both MDR and buffet. I get a veggie burger from the deli and bring it over to Guys Burger and get all the goodies.

Were they still doing self-serve? I heard most other cruise lines are serving you which I would be more comfortable with at this time.

Well, as it turns out, I can't downgrade, only upgrade and the only option was for a cabin on deck 8 below all the activities so I am sticking with 7300. Hopefully it will be ok. Thanks everyone for your feedback!

yes we had 7300 and our friends were 2 rooms down both aft facing and they had same issue, room stewards did best to clean and extra towels to cover chairs, we would not book aft on miracle again, not for the soot but the vibration was more a issue for myself and wife, had to put paper in closet doors as vibrated and made noise all night, people post videos on youtube about this on miracle and yes very bad we thought.
Thank you very much. I'm going to talk with my sister about it. Fortunately, if we keep it, it's only for 4 nights. I am seeing too many reviews about the vibration and it has me concerned, especially when I hear that the drawers and doors on closet make noise all night!
-
Thanks. You had 7300 before?
Hmm I'm receiving two different answers. I'm wondering if I should try and switch BACK to midship. That's where we were but I changed it to the aft. 😞 I've never had these issues on the aft balconies before on any ship.

yes furniture will be stained, not oil but diesel ash from funnel, we had this room and put towels over everything outside and vibration in room, we booked midship second time

Appreciate your reply. I’m not too concerned about me but my sister isn’t much of a cruiser and didn’t want those issues to be an issue for her.
My husband and I have 7349 three weeks later. 😊

Was it too partially covered?

I had 7300 on the Miracle last July and didn't have that issue. We loved the cabin.
Thank you! Good to hear 😊

Haven't been on the Miracle but was on the Pride in 2018. I had Cabin # 7298 (Aft wrap). Never had an issue with soot or oil on the balcony.

Thank you!

I just booked 2 baja mexico cruises on the Miracle within 3 weeks of each other. Going with 2 different people and I had to use FCC quickly. :-)
I booked aft cabins on Veranda deck (7300 is one). I read somewhere AFTER I booked it that oil drips down on the balcony. Has anyone had this experience? My favorite balcony type are aft cabins and never had this issue before. Also, it stated there was no covering at all so very hot and sunny. The cabins I've been on have a partial covering closest to the door and the rest is uncovered.
I'm getting concerned I shouldn't have booked these. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Thanks. Was the food worth the cost? I'm guessing the Sunrise might be a bit different. The food at the Chef's dinner was great but the food in the dining room was tasteless. I'm hoping the Sunrise has better food. 🙂 I can't wait to go.

Has anyone done the Chef's dinner on the Sunrise? If so, how was the food? Was it worth it? Did you get a recipe, picture or cookbook? (we did on the Splendor).
Thanks!

Thank you so much for the wonder pictures! I can't wait until I go (October).
Question - did they ever serve lobster in the dining room for dinner or is that an extra fee?
Thanks!

Thanks Sadie. I'm bringing my hairdryer. I never like any cruise line or hotel dryer. :-)
Fortunately, it's only a 4 night cruise. The two other passengers with me like it very cold and I can't stand it cold. LOL This should be fun!
