In onboard too, probably has to do with the hurricane over the Bahamas. I’m okay with the change, Nassau is fun but Roatan is very very beautiful and nice

On board right now on a 7-day and have heard that the passenger count is only 1800ish, online for anything and easy to get reservations. Then again, I’m in the YC Sony experience may be different. Service, food, and experience have all been impeccable so far! Might have ruined all other forms of cruising for me!

My first MSC too! I’m mostly an NCL guy so I’m excited to try a new line! There’s always that exciting feeling of novelty. Just hope I don’t get lost 😂

I believe it’s terminal 10, the one Norwegian typically uses. I’m headed down there myself right now (don’t worry someone else is driving, I’m not typing while I’m the highway lol) so I’ll be sure to let you know when I get there!

Thank for the review! I’m on the November 6th sailing in the YC in a few days for my first MSC cruise! Things certainly seem to have improved since the rocky start to Mera’s US season a few weeks ago. Just a couple of questions. When were the formal nights and what were some of your favorite dishes offered at the YC restaurant? Thanks again!

Is there an option to use one of your “dining experiences” credits at the Teppanyaki restaurant aboard MSC ships? I’ve seen dining experience reduced menus for things like Butchers Cut and Ocean Cay etc, but not for Tappanyaki. Just wondering if it was available.

Going on the Mera in a week and was wondering if anyone who had been on there recently could report on what English-language TV channels were available.

Hi all, just to give an update, after researching trends on Cruiseplum, I'm happy to report that I've noticed that the price drops by about $100 every week and since it's after final payment day, I assume that trend will continue at least for a little while. So, I'm gona hold off and wait to book and see how low I can get the price to go.

Norwegian has a little over two months to build and name a ship the "Emerald." Thats quite the turnaround, frankly I'm impressed

I’ve read in some live cruise reports that the yacht club will hold cocktail parties or sail away gatherings for their members. Those sound really fun! Do they occur on all sailings or just a select few from y’all’s experience?

Is there any way to check your onboard account balance on the MSC app or any other way online? Or do you have to go to guest services to get a balance printed? I just get really paranoid about onboard spending/mistake charges to the point where I probably check my onboard balance 800 times on my last NCL cruise

Hi all -- I'm relatively new to Norwegian, I'm looking at a cruise for January 2023. The current price for a balcony stateroom is $1,658. Many other lines I've cruised on will lower their prices closer to embarkation as a way to "fill the ship." As a result, I usually book my cruises within 30 days of sailing to get better prices. Does Norwegian operate by this principle and should I expect that price to go down over the next couple of months? Or would I be best booking sooner?

How is the YC lounge at the port Canaveral terminal? In the embarkation there easy as well? I only ask because I’m going on Mera in a few weeks here

Just wondering if there is a dress code at Ocean house at Ocean cay? If there is, I'll have to bring extra/different clothes to go to the beach with.
