  1. It's not allowed, just not enforced. Your eyesight is correct if you see them in the hallway. It then becomes a hassle for another scooter to squeeze by and also is a fire hazard.
  2. It's a YMMV situation. Spent 28 nights on the Mardi Gras in 2022 and 5 on the Celebration in 2023 and experienced multiple times on each of our sailings scooters illegally parked in the hallway. Carnival doesn't like to ruffle feathers so the scooters stayed as a fire hazard each evening and made it difficult for others in a scooter to squeeze by.
  3. The Haven guests getting in early was observed by us in January on the Encore at the Cavern Club. It was not done during our 25 nights on the Prima since Halloween in Syd's Pour House.
  4. Our fitness classes consist of 8 ounce to 12 ounce curls multiple times a day at multiple bars.
  5. Spent 14 days on the Prima recently and enjoyed all sorts of shots at the Vibe and also had mini beers at the Penrose Bar.
  6. Had a nice discussion during our recent B2B meeting that there will be some things tweaked on the Viva. The Metropolitan Bar will become a piano bar. There will be two new bars in the atrium area replacing two retail establishments to alleviate some of the traffic at the casino bar (Penrose) on deck six that is always swamped at night. Ship 3 in the class has been pushed back to 2025 and supposedly ships 3 & 4 will be slightly larger.
  7. We've spent 25 nights on the Prima and went to the buffet for dinner zero times. Had 9 specialty, 1 Local, 6 Hudson's and 9 Indulge Food Hall. Syd's had 5 shows per week on our recent B2B that we just got off of. We waited in line for 90 minutes prior to entry and got the best seats. It's not for everyone, but we thought they were the best entertainment on board.
  8. Teetotalers that don't drink enough non alcoholic included options in the package should always just choose the standard package and pay a la carte for everything.
  9. The buffet is small, but has the same selections and sections as the Breakaway and plus class ships. Syd's on the Prima is the same size as Syds on the other ships in the fleet. If you want to see comedy, the theater has family and 18+ shows.
  10. Really don't care about the internet. If it's included in a package like on Princess or Celebrity, we'll use it, otherwise we turn off for the week. Either way, 44.00 per day for the drinks package is a bargain compared to the competition.
  11. That's what I said. Diamond+ gets 5 and Pinnacle gets 6. Major perk since their drinks package with the fluid dynamic pricing is through the roof. Our 7 day on the Anthem of the Seas in April is 1100 for the two of us.
  12. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but after 4/6/24, the Enchanted will continue doing 7/14 sailings out of Fort Lauderdale until 8/10/24. These are all open for bookings. Starting on March 1, bookings will open up for the next series of itineraries. It starts with a 14 day repositioning cruise from Fort Lauderdale to NYC from 8/10-24/24, going to southern and eastern Caribbean ports. Then it'll do New England/Canada cruises out of NYC.
  13. The overwhelming majority of the cruise lines loyalty programs really don't give anything to write home about. Royal gives 4 free drinks starting at their Diamond level and NCL gives two free specialty dinners at Platinum. I personally think it's better to not keep all of our eggs in one basket. We're Platinum with Carnival and priority embarkation and customer service lines are the only perks worth anything. But I would rather cruise on the newest ships tha various lines have instead of being loyal to a single line.
  14. It is the Enchanted sailing out of more than likely Brooklyn.
  15. If you print all of your tags in B&W, then it doesn't matter. But yes, it's certainly quirky.
  16. And they are all on the other side of the pond. She doesn't come to the states till October 9, 2024.
  17. We're planning on possibly doing either 10 or 14 days in October or November and then again during the first quarter of 2025.
  18. I realize that, but the IT mistake possibly saved you how much money for the same cabin that others paid a higher price for?
  19. It's not complicated for us at all. We spent 14 days last year on the Discovery and will spend another 14 this year on the Majestic. Got the plus package for 40 on both cruises. Will be booking two cruises in 2024 on the Enchanted and the Sun. Will pay 60 for the Plus package. After factoring out gratuities, that's 45 bucks for the drink package or three a day, which will be done just after lunch. And then wifi is gravy. The bottom line is that it gets complicated for teetotalers. Any that choose to imbibe, it's a simple decision.
  20. At 60 per day, after factoring out gratuities, it's 45.50 for wifi & drinks per day. This is cheaper than any of their competitors. It of course was an even greater deal when it was 40 per day, which we enjoyed last year for 14 days on the Discovery and will for 14 in a few months on the Majestic.
  21. Use your Elite status, butter up someone at guest services that you hopefully set up a rapport with and ask them to do your check in for you.
  22. Gee, think cruise critic is being monitored by someone at Princess? Best of luck getting the mistake fare locked in even if it's paid in full. There is probably some fine print in the terms and conditions that'll cover their butts.
  23. Right now everything is currently open through the short or long version of the transatlantic, which consists of the 25 day version out of Barcelona on September 14, 2024 or the 16 day version out of Southampton on September 23, 2024. They end on October 9, 2024 in Port Everglades. Maybe the new itineraries for October will be open in April for bookings.
  24. We were originally booked on the TA for 9/2024, but decided to wait until she comes to the states to sail on her. Really looking forward to Princess's spin on the platform that we have previously cruised on with the Carnival Mardi Gras and Celebration.
  25. Oh, it's a one story decorative waterfall, not a three story one that cascades similar to the one on the Sunshine.
