  1. Thanks for posting. We have an early excursion in Skagway. Any problems getting off the ship there?
  2. It is being offered on the Royal according to recent cruisers.
  3. I read somewhere (don't remember where) that Crab Shack is now part of the casual dining plan? Has anyone else heard this?
  4. Are the new benefits such as the casual dining actually showing there? My travel summary has not changed.
  5. Thanks for the great suggestions. Unfortunately, we are on board for only seven days.
  6. We are sailing on the Royal next month. What is your go to food item from the International Cafe and why?
  7. Trying to book specialty dining for our August 26th cruise but the only option is Sabattini's. I am assuming this means the Crown Grill is fully booked. Will reservations become available closer to the cruise date?
  8. I am interested in these items also. Thanks for taking the time to post them
  9. Sorry if this has already been asked, but do any recent cruisers on Royal Princess have copies of the MDR menus. If not, can you advise which nights would be best to skip the MDR and go to a specialty restaurant. Thanks
  10. We are sailing to Alaska on Royal in August and are currently booked in a mini-suite on deck 14 on the starboard side. Which side do you prefer for the best views from your balcony? We are sailing round trip from Seattle. Thanks
  11. Thanks everyone. This was a great help/
  12. If I book a flight home from Seattle for 11:30am after an Alaskan cruise am I cutting it too close? I really don't want to take a "red eye" home.
  13. Thanks for replying. Something to consider.
  14. My bad. We are planning on sailing in August. Not sure where I got February from. How bad is the motion?
  15. Looking at an Alaskan Cruise at the end of February. Has anyone booked a forward-facing cabin? Is it too windy to enjoy? Either doing Seattle round trip (Royal) or Whittier to Vancouver (Majestic). Would also like to hear your opinion of both.
  16. I was on that cruise and yes, there was definitely more than 2000+ kids on-board. Many (probably 8-10 years old) were unsupervised at night and running through the halls - at least this was the case on deck 12. However, this didn't ruin our vacation.
  17. If these have been asked and answered, please forgive me. I did try doing a search but to no avail. My DW and I both have the Refreshment Package. Two questions: 1. Can I get a mocktail and a bottle of water ( or any two items) at the same time just using my card? I drink a lot of water during the day and like to have a bottle always with me. 2. I had read that if you don't like what you ordered, you can just order something else. When we last cruised, about 12 years ago, there was a waiting period of about 20 minutes between orders to try to prevent those people getting something for someone who did not have a package. I remember that it was difficult to find a good non-alcoholic Mudslide or Miami Vice on Celebrity. When I went to a different bar, they told me that I just ordered one. Is that how it works on Royal? As always, thanks.
  18. Are you able to bring your own wine to a specialty restaurant? We really don't drink much wine but do like a certain sangria that we might bring with us.
  19. We leave on August 28th. Since I purchased the 3 night dining package, I can't make advanced reservations.
  20. Thanks. We are leaning towards Giovanni's. Any recommendations?
  21. I have been reading recent posts on Facebook that the food in Giovanni's was not that good. Has anyone recently dined there and had a different experience?. I have the 3 night dining package and am deciding between Giovanni's or Izumi.
