I just contacted Princess at the above email address, copying Jan Swartz and John Padgett yesterday afternoon.  I explained my situation in detail.  Everything was fixed this morning!

I think some of you may not have valid complaints and the tone of the emails may not have helped either.  If you can be polite and detail with specificity your problems, you have a much greater chance to get the results you want.  If, like in the above case, a passenger complains like this, he or she is going to get nowhere.

Well aren't you the helpful little butterfly. Having utterly no idea what is contained in my email, you decide that my "tone" is wrong and I'd obtain better results if I were more like you. How nice.

The issues with the Crown Princess were known to everyone for months.  You had a chance to cancel and rebook on another ship but you did not take it.  I don't see why you would be entitled to a $1,400 refund.

    Cold. Very cold.

  3. We were on another of their "cruises from hell" in May. A PE to Southampton TA.

I wrote a very specific email when we returned in the middle of May and sent it to customerrelations@ as well bcc'ed to a half dozen Princess execs. After hearing nothing after the first month, I resent it mid-June, then again Mid-July. Getting ready to send it again in a couple of days for the fourth time.

To date I've received absolutely no response at all........from anyone.

Best of luck in getting a response from someone. Certainly better luck than I"ve had!!

  4. 5 sailings so far this year

    1) All of the time. Everywhere public. Except for those on stage.

    2) Completely optional for pax. Some did. Most didn't.

I've heard from a staff member that the "360" will be a new dining experience in the space adjacent to the Sabatini's entrance.  My friend would not elaborate any further.

Look at similar cruises on the Princess website “Find Your Cruise” that are within the 12 months time frame. Each cruise will have place for flight quotes.

Please permit me just a very minor timing quibble.
The new flight booking window opens 330 days out rather than 12 months.
Apart from that little bit of nitpicking, @billco’s advice is spot on.

So....Been seeing these 30 second spots about “something extraordinary “ coming soon on the enchanted and discovery.   Who has the inside track on what this may be?  New Show? New beverage package lol?  Your input is welcome!

Global warming?  All the lobsters have moved north out of New England and have been replaced by southern crawdads??

The alarmists had to rebrand and dump “global warming” after they got frozen out of their fastidious conclave a few years ago.
    Can’t make this stuff up.

    Hi,

This is our first time on MSC - we are sailing out of Barcelona on the Grandiosa and I am meeting other family members on board. We have all chosen early dining but can I request that we all sit together? Would I do that before the cruise or when on-board?

Does it matter that my DH and I have the EasyPlus drinks package and they don't?

    Is piling on ever appropriate?

Where/when can you buy this package? I don’t see anything like that as an option. I do see an alcohol free option for $260.

    Price:$ 19 per stateroom

SOFT DRINK & ICE CREAM PACKAGE

    Book now
    Including:

    • 10 canned sodas, fruit juices or takeaway ice creams from our ice cream bar

The drinks included in this package can be consumed in bars, restaurants and self-service buffet.
  11. For a Spring 23 sailing on the Orchestra (Durban to Italy). Looking at the Soft Drink and Ice Cream Package.

The description is clear on the part about 10 items for $19/day. What I cannot find any information on is what soft drinks are offered - Coke? Pepsi? Something else altogether?

Ive been on many cruise lines and never worn pants.
the op asked a question and I’m giving honest facts    I won’t be wearing pants on the next formal night either.
you sir have a great day.

@Ptroxx, be careful with use of the “T” word. Don’t want to see you get censured.

  13. Oceania? Where in heaven's name did that come from and how is that even remotely relevant to the Princess cruise @Ptroxx is talking about? This is a PRINCESS BOARD.

I'll bet shorts aren't allowed in Prince Albert Hall either but who in blazes cares???? Just muddying up the water, but then again, that's to be expected.

I was on the Discovery last week and was chatting with the Internet Manager about poor service that was even worse than we had ever experienced in the past, even in Alaska.  The Cruise Critic issues persist, and I was unable to retrieve personal email at all as my email service thought I was a bot.  He was able to replicate the last issue on his device and was going to report it as he hadn't seen that particular behavior for my email carrier (although he had seen other issues).  And he said that Princess isn't doing anything to block any sites like CC.  Among other things he told me that they have been with SES for at least 7 years so the provider has not changed.  I also asked about Starlink and he indicated that they don't yet have enough satellites to provide service to Princess.  He was aware of what's happening with Royal.

    Great sleuthing.  Thanks!!!
