I was wondering the same thing - What currency to use for extra tips? Thanks @tomchervfor asking it. Now I want to know how do you know what the currency is on the ship. I too will be on a Princess ship leaving Southampton for British Isles and Iceland. Where can one locate that info?

We stayed at the Auberge Hotel last summer for 3 nights pre-cruise. It is across the street from the port and Bell Services at the Auberge will transfer all of your luggage for you to the terminal. It is a lovely hotel in a great location. The price is reasonable especially for the location.

We preferred the Crown on our Cruise. Excellent service and food. Unfortunately our experience at Sabatinas wasn’t worth it. The service was good but our food was awesome.
