  1. So what travel insurance do you suggest. solo traveler. 61 with Medicare so no outside coverage. insuring 2 trips right now 1-5K and the second trip about 4K. no credit cards with coverage.
  2. Best annual policy. TravelGuard VS Allianz. Or??? I have 2 big trips coming up and would like an annual policy. 60+ airily good healthy with a few existing conditions.
  3. Don’t forget you get double points on RC traveling solo. I have 5 cruises on RC and I’ll be diamond on my next cruise. I’m gett8ng 44 points on my next 2 cruises. And it’s 80 to diamond.
  4. I think you are 100% alone in your opinion. I’ve been to alaska a number of times. And each time is better than the last time. Ive spent hours on my balcony watching the beauty of Alaska sail by. I’ve seen bears. Eagles. Whales, dolphins you name it. don’t know how someone can say alaska is boring. but I guess that’s me.

  12. Yeah and all those Disney hotels stay empty because everyone in a house. Lol. Ok. and where you eating for 20.00 a plate what about drinks and appetizers and desserts. Juices coffees milks pies ice cream. Let’s be realistic here.
  13. Exactly. And not every hotel has free breakfast. So you do eat out 3 times a day. And for a family of 4 that can be atleast 75-100 a meal. And dinner could be more. So yes they could easily spend that much on tips. been to Disney lately. Lol.
  14. Yeah well not everyone stays at a beach house. And I guess if you eat at Costco your gonna save on tips. even if I stay at an AirBnb I still eat out 3 times a day. So I guess it all depends on the person and family.
  15. What would it cost you in tips if you were on a land vacation for 3 meals a day in a restaurant? And that’s just for your waiter ?

  17. My cruise ends in Yokohama Japan. and it’s cheaper for me to book Narita Airport. so now I’m just figuring out best and cheapest way to get from port to airport. I have plenty of time to make it to the airport. Flights at 530pm.

  20. I know it’s not the closest airport but I can save 500.00 using it. what would be the best way to get to Narita airport ??? I’ve read I can taxi to the train depot. And the train take me directly to the airport for about 50.00. just confirming this is possible. My flights not til 530pm. So I have time to get there. any tips would be appreciated.

  23. I’ve been the the windjammer so many times at different times and I guess I just never hit the big rush everyone always complains about. 🤷🤷🤷. just off the Wonder. Never had issues.
  24. First I would have told them to pound sand and get another elevator. and I would have tripped that MSC host and made sure they fell if they ever pushed me. Oops.
