  1. Though not a requirement in Tampa's Terminal 6, or onboard RCLs Serenade of the Seas Nov. 5-12 ... I wore a mask and am glad I did. I live in the Tampa Bay area and it's not unusual to see persons wearing a mask. I work in Downtown Tampa and in the office we have individuals wearing masks, also.
  2. I recently returned from a 7 night cruise with RCLs Serenade of the Seas, and self-parked in the secure, outdoor lot adjacent/across from Terminal 6. Upon return I used a porter and doing so allowed me to jump the line at Immigration and the porter took my bags to my car which was about 100 feet from the terminal exit. The porter also put the luggage in my car. Using a porter was probably the smartest decision I made.
  3. I was on a 7 night RCL Serenade cruise last week and self-parked in the secured outdoor lot adjacent to Terminal 6, from which the ship departed. Price was $15 daily, if I'm recalling correctly (I live in the Tampa Bay area). I parked approximately 100 feet from the terminal and it was an easy walk to/from.
  4. On the November 5th-12th 7 night cruise aboard Serenade the MDR served lobster tail one night. I don't like lobster, so I didn't partake.
  5. I have a 2 week-old HP laptop and I can access the RCL website without problems. I'm currently using Microsoft Edge.
  6. There was no Purel in my stateroom. I brought my own in small bottles. However, there were many dispensers throughout the ship (Serenade of the Seas) and as people walked into Windjammer there was someone from the crew squirting some on hands of just about everyone (dispensers in Windjammer as well).
  7. I've just returned from 7 nights on RCLs Serenade of the Seas. My first-ever cruise. Several days before boarding I asked my primary care physician to prescribe Scopolamine patches. Other than the last night of the cruise, the ship seemed steady. Maybe I needed something, maybe not ... but it was my first cruise and I wanted to be ready.
  8. I came off the Serenade in Tampa, this morning. There are no escalators onboard, but there are in the terminal building. Staff were permitting use of the escalators when passengers had more than one bag. There's an elevator in the terminal, next to the escalators ... and the elevator was being used by individuals not comfortable taking a suitcase down the escalator. I'd purchased the "Key" and was permitted to leave with the self departing passengers ... but was directed to the elevator for a reason I don't understand. No harm, no foul.
  9. I'm just off of Serenade, this morning. All staterooms are/were equipped with 2 RCL logo white face masks (not N95). I wandered about the ship, used the elevator, ate in the Windjammer, used tenders, etc. I always wore a mask when around other passengers. One man, the same man, twice belittled me for wearing a mask (two days apart). The second time I told him to shut up and mind his own business, and if the did that again I'd file a complaint against him with guest services. Yesterday and this morning, there was a lot of coughing and when people coughed few covered their mouths, from what I observed. I witnessed few crew members wearing a mask.
  10. I returned from a 7 night Western Caribbean Cruise on the Serenade, today. it was my first ever cruise. I'm very picky when it comes to both mattress and pillows. I don't know if the mattress in my room was foam or not, but it was very comfortable. Each of the 4 pillows on the King bed were comfortable. I can't sleep with firm pillows and those I had this past week were between soft and firm ... perfect for me.
