  1. I do that more frequently than I care to admit, lol.
  2. I may want to OD on PG candied bacon (or at least whatever amount $8.26 gets me), but no, I do not want bacon on everything - no bacon milkshakes for me. And while I enjoy a nice donut with breakfast along with a double side of bacon, I do not want said bacon on said donut, ugh and ugh. 🙄 Let the voting begin... 🙄
  3. Nope, not all of us 🧐 I love the PG candied bacon, but wouldn't dream of putting pineapple on a pizza. That is wrong, just wrong. 🥴
  4. Yes @1019throw just go to Passenger Services desk anytime before the last day and ask for the form to adjust tips. Just know that even if you fill it out on day 1, you will see the charges each day until the afternoon on the final day. At that time, they'll back them all off. You can adjust down (of even up) by any amount you wish all the way to $0. You only need to complete 1 form per cabin, but do need to list each passenger that you want adjusted. You can adjust 1 passenger and leave the other, for example, if one wants to pay the standard gratuities and the other doesn't. You only have to complete the form 1 time per booking number. Safe travels - enjoy your cruise!
  5. Hi - considering taking flavored liquid creamer on next cruise. Have you encountered any issues and do you take it on the ship in checked luggage or carry-on? I get vanilla cappuccino from GDC or Explorations but am excited about ability to have nice flavored coffee w/my "pre breakfast".
  6. I'm just looking to bring flavored liquid coffee creamer since it's not available onboard and I don't like powdered creamer, so won't bring it. Certainly won't be bringing a 12 pack of creamer; we'll find out on my next cruise in 2 months. If anyone learns before then, please let us know.
  7. Stumbled onto this thread in attempt to find out if HAL has flavored creamer onboard. Never thought of bringing my own, but now I'm considering it. 4* who loves vanilla cappuccino that has not noticed flavored creamers nor asked for any due to Explorations and GDC. Since I do enjoy "pre breakfast" bringing flavored creamer would help me get by until I could make a trip up to Explorations (and on ships that don't have GDC). I really don't like the powdered and prefer the liquid, so that's the question - would it get past security w/o confiscation? Interesting...
  8. Don't I wish!! This is that same booking we've been discussing; didn't call today, only tried via app & online, but when I call tomorrow, I will ask if it's already included. I know it's not - the invoice only shows CO and $100 OBC.
  9. Yes, both. For my sanity, I only took one set of screenshots.
  10. Hey @Smeecanada my experience has been mixed - I've had them contact me, but I've also had them not contact me. I have taken it upon myself to continue to monitor the tour I really wanted (your more desired tour) and contact them to add it & cancel the other if I found an opening. If they're actively working waitlists, this likely won't get you your desired tour as you shouldn't see any openings. Posters here report they are getting contacted by being on a waitlist, so that's hopeful. You could also contact Shore Ex on a regular basis. Fingers crossed for you - please report your outcome as I'm interested in how it goes.
  11. The adults only aspect of VV appeals to us, but from what I've seen and read, it takes partying in a direction that at 60+ yo we have no interest in going. For foodies, VV does look to have some pretty good menus. Their drink prices are crazy through-the-roof, over-the-top high!! Although we continue to receive some incredible offers, after following a few Live threads and reading various posts, we don't think we will be booking on VV. Would be interested in others feedback and certainly wish them well, as I think they have a place in the industry. Although, this is probably not the place for that convo...
  12. That's been my experience, as well. Details say up to $100 each, but reality was $200 credit applied to total excursion purchase. Which, for me, was better.
  13. Was not able to book HIA again today on free cruise (paid to upgrade free inside to verandah and added CO). Started in app then moved to website when prompted. Typically, indication it's not going to work are when there's no price displayed and no drop down to select names.
  14. Tried again today w/o success to add HIA to free cruise (we paid to upgrade from free inside to aft verandah and added CO). Used the app, then logged in when it took me to website. Typically, indication it's not going to work is when price and names are not displayed.
  15. You have way too much time on your hands. Or you've inhaled too much nail polish.🤔 Either way, very funny and please do report back your findings.🤭🙄 I prefer pie charts over bar graphs, and certainly no excel sheets, so please consider that when presenting your findings.🤭
  16. Oh my. I do not want to learn a lesson the hard way.
  17. Not having been on Celebrity (and no real plans to change that, but plans are just plans), I am happy to see you report something positive about HAL MDR. It sure seems to be getting kicked a lot. We have 2 HAL cruises leaving from Rome coming up later this year, so definitely nice to hear the food was good.
  18. Best rule to remember is EVERYTHING goes on your S&S card and you always have the option of giving an additional cash tip. If you give your card (S&S card) to someone, the charge goes on your card If you sign a slip, the charge goes on your card If your card is scanned, the charge goes on your card If you lose your card and the finder uses it, the charge goes on your card (seriously, do report it lost asap) If you add an extra tip to a charge slip and give extra cash, the charge goes on your card
  19. I never considered insurance costs being added to HAL excursions; although, perfectly logical that they would be. With all my cruising experience, I just never thought about it. I'm aware of their best price guarantee, but have never compared the details to see if any I had booked actually qualified; I'm guessing not. With that said, I compare prices and schedules a little. If we're familiar with or comfortable with the port, we're more inclined to venture out on our own or take an independent tour. We second some incredible tours both ways - through the ship and independent - I can support both. When there's a lot of travel involved, especially when language barriers impact us, we will opt for ship excursions as the " no man left behind" policy is very comforting.
  20. Hope you consider doing a live review or at least a post review - would be interested in your thoughts of the Koningsdam and to see what I'm sure will be awesome pictures. We really enjoy the Grand Dutch Cafe on deck 3 - great coffee and snacks; they have some unique food items not available on other ships. Safe travels - enjoy your cruise!
  21. You are not serious, right, that this is long and boring? You're just wanting the pat on the back and accolades for sharing insight and awesome pictures, right?! AK is absolutely a unique and amazing experience; we always "already" miss it before we're even off the ship. Thanks for sharing, still hope your knee is better even though you're long winded and boring, lol!
  22. Maybe @Pickalily, Wilts lives next door to his parents, lol!
  23. Yeah, well, that list is a long one...
