  1. Late to the party today - busy busy work. Important days and Important days in history. Big yes to the meal, not sure about the drink, would try the wine, not been to the port. No idea what the temp is, but it's chilly w/sprinkles. FSA card was declined Fri at PT do I had to use my personal card. Talked to them today and learned they had sent out a new one that was canceled when I never activated it. So a new one is on the way and I'm not scheduling any appointments until it arrives. Prayers 🙏 and positive thoughts for all.
  2. Not saying I think 19 is necessarily necessary (🥴 ), just speculating that might be one of the benefits of participating in the Crawl. Financially speaking, I think it might be more attractive to people w/o HIA who are paying per drink.
  3. Correct - round table for 8 with 7 present. There was 1 stand when we sat down and very quickly a server dropped off another one w/o us asking. We asked him for another one (so we could have 3 total for the table); it took a while, but we did get the 3rd stand. Tea refills were slow at first, but seems once they finished delivering extra stands, the tea refills came quicker.
  4. @nooligans I thought the same thing - your picture looks like the serving utensils are on the "public" side of the serving line. Are the servers on that side? The same side as the passengers?
  5. Ask TA to submit a Special Needs (maybe Special Assistance) form to HAL where you will indicate your your need for a special diet. Then first night in MDR, tell them you have a special dietary request. They'll likely ask what it is then bring you the menu for the following night. Top of it, you will note your cabin number and "low sodium" or "no sodium" (whichever it is). Then you'll mark your choices and give the sheet back to your server. If there is an issue w/any specific choice, they'll connect with you. You can also go to the MDR when you first get on and let them know so that there is no delay w/your dinner the first night. Lido you may need to be diligent about asking for a manager to be sure you get the correct dishes. Specialty dining you'll just tell them when you are ready to order. I do this every cruise... Safe travels - enjoy your cruise!
  6. The social aspect of the crawl and 4 drinks that don't count against your daily 15?
  7. Welcome back!! Fabulous itinerary - I've not done this itinerary or that 'Dam ship - I am following and look forward to your review. Safe travels - enjoy your cruise!
  8. Yes - also a "Daily Special" on the breakfast menu. They're a welcome addition.
  9. There was also one Oct/Nov on Ns and Nov/Dec on NS, I got invited but didn't go so I don't have pictures. I think there was also one April/May on Eurodam. I've read reports of others having it during their cruises as well, so I do believe it's back. Maybe limited to select ships & sailings, but seems fairly common.
  10. I could support a "Pie in the Sky" party. And "Cake Me Away."
  11. Tickler Golden Smile here saying thanks for all the St Paddy's Day well wishes.🍀
  12. 🍀🍀Happy St Patrick's Day🍀🍀 Camp Fires helped build confidence and skills for a lot of girls. If only the quote were true😉 Pass on the meal and drink, yes to the wine, not been to the port. Important days in history. Today is a trip to the pet store since it rained too much yesterday to get out. Little Puppy 🐶 didn't mind - she enjoyed her brothers food, but we did not enjoy her rooting tooting after 🙄 The cake @richwmn posted from Volendam is beautiful! HAL sure has a talented group of pastry chefs. Currently 55° headed to 66° with rain holding off until Wed PM 🤞 Prayers and positive thoughts for all. 🙏
  13. Happy 63rd Anniversary @irishjim Happy St Pat's Day! 🍀
  14. No reservations for anytime - just show up as you said.
  15. We did not notice it. Have read about it, but was not an issue. Maybe 2 cabins over is far enough away?
  16. We were deck 6 midship, 2 cabins aft from the glass elevators, port side Sign Suite on Eurodam last Apr 29 - May 6 for the opening season to AK. Had 0 issues w/elevator noise and no motion issues. We enjoyed the views - no shortage of gorgeous breathtaking views (it's AK!), but are self processed aft snobs that will still take a true aft wake view any time we can get one. I think we just felt out of place. Loved the larger balcony of the SS. So the deck 5 mid ship sounds like a good choice. We also prefer port rather than starboard when we aren't aft. If you really don't need to be located next to each other, getting cabins with different views would allow all of you an opportunity to see different views when visiting each others cabins. Just a thought. As @crystalspin said, there's really not a lot of movement, but Mother Nature is in control, so if that's a concern, !owed & mid would be better. It's a great cruise - enjoy!! 17. I have found so long as I ask for something that is on the menu at some point, example Mon has asparagus and Tues green beans, when I eat on Mon & ask for green beans, there is not an issue just possibly a slight delay. If I ask for something that is on the menu same night but listed w/a different entree/meal, there is no issue. I do that frequently w/vegetables and potatoes. I have not asked for something that is not on the menu at some time during the cruise, ie special request.
  18. Not hidden, it is listed as an event in the Daily. If you didn't see it listed for your Dec cruise on NS, no need for me to check mine since it was right before yours. The timing was probably right after our NS cruises and before my K'dam Christmas cruise - it's that new. But I am really looking forward to see what you get for Easter.
  19. No - we did didn't have it on K'dam Dec 2022, either. We DID have it K'dam Dec 21 2023 - Jan 6 2024 sailing. The pictures I posted above in #12 are from that cruise. Nor did we have it on Eurodam April/May '23 or NS Oct/Nov '23. I don't remember if we had it NS Nov/Dec '23, I would have to check my pictures.
  20. That's unfortunate as they're lovely. I have no excuse for not going, but the one on my last cruise was so nice, I will be sure to attend every time I get an invite.
