  1. I ended up calling dolphin discovery and they were able to book me the royal swim vip in Cozumel with free 15 minute Manatee encounter, includes buffet, open bar, sea lion show, snorkeling, lockers, etc. for $103 per adult

  3. This was going to be booked on my own, not through Princess. I do agree that that hauling over to the mainland would be a pain, I'm going to call and see if I can make my own package or add on other interactions. The royal swim VIP you mentioned looks to be a dolphin swim but more behaviors than with some of the other packages. I see they have packages for each of the 3 animals, but they all overlap in what they cover so I don't want to book more than one.
  4. The Dolphin Discovery on Cozumel doesn't have a combo swim package, its only dolphin, or manatee, or sea lion. That's how they're on my radar.
  5. Has anyone gone to the Dolphin Discovery location in Puerto Aventuras? They have a Royal Swim Plus program that includes in water interactions with dolphins, manatees and sea lions but it says its an hour from Cozumel and a bit of a hassle to get to. We're in port from 9am-7pm so I think we'd have time, just not sure if it's worth the hassle.

  7. Wow, thank you! I booked so long ago I forgot what it said when I booked but I did remember something about a rollaway. I guess I'll find out in a couple weeks for sure lol!
  8. We are in A409, its a veranda cabin. From the pic on their website, I can't see where it would come out of. Maybe someone does have a better pic
  9. I will be in Belize on the Caribbean Princess on July 12 and was wondering which has better snorkeling, Rendezvous Caye, Goff’s Caye or Caye Caulker. All 3 look great but there doesn't seem like much shade or activity on Goff's Caye and I'm not sure how snorkeling from the beach on Caye Caulker is. My kids (11 and 13) don't want to snorkel with the sharks and rays. Princess only has a snorkeling tour to Rendezvous Caye so I'd also have to either plan to go on our own or find another tour company for the other locations. Any recommendations?
  10. Any idea how comfortable it is? My 11 year old literally cried the couch bed was so hard on Celebrity lol. We had to convert the singles to a king and all squish together which was less than ideal. I was thinking about bringing a twin sized air mattress as backup
  11. I'm sailing on the Caribbean Princess on July 8 with my 2 children (11 and 13 years old). Does anyone know what we do as far a 3rd bed? When I look at pics of the room (Veranda) I didn't see a couch that would be able to be converted. Anyone have experience with this situation?
  12. @Ms411, I looked at them and their tour looks perfect but they aren't operating on the day I'll be in St Thomas unfortunately 😞
  13. I'm cruising on Celebrity Equinox on June 10-18 with my 2 children aged 11 and 13 who've never cruised or snorkeled before. They tend to be on the scared side. I was going to book a snorkel with turtles tour, but then noticed it appears to be in deep water and I'm afraid they'll be too afraid to participate. I was planning to just go to a beach and snorkel, most likely at Magen's Beach. I'll need to rent equipment. Is this the best bet to see sea turtles? Any other suggestions?
