We did exactly that -rented a car upon arrival in Orlando, visited the theme parks for a few days, parked the car at the port during our cruise, then drove back to airport after the cruise to return the car. It was worth the cost to us to avoid the hassles of returning the car at the port and re-renting it after the cruise, and it was cheaper than taking a shuttle or car service after the cruise.

Our Lyft "extra comfort" ride from the Riverside to the port this past November cost $17. Cheaper than the shuttle for 2. Uber comfort from airport to Riverside Hotel was $21.

Thanks for the helpful information. It does seem like the TA just didn't want to be bothered. We have decided to cancel and rebook (with another TA) after we have verified that CO is available on the sailing. I appreciate the tips from all of you.

I just booked a cruise yesterday on Rotterdam, and before I booked it I asked my travel agent to verify that Club Orange was available. She said she called HAL and was told that they are unable to verify that it's available until after a booking is in place. She instructed me to book the cruise, then to call HAL directly to add Club Orange. I did that, and of course Club Orange was not available. It's frustrating that they couldn't give me that information before I booked, so I could choose another date.

I have this photo of the machine, but am not able to zoom in enough to see the brand. We didn't think it was terrible, but it definitely wasn't as good as from the machine in the Neptune lounge.

I didn't notice any fragrance either, and I am extremely sensitive to, and get headaches from, many common fragrances. The laundry service is wonderful.

No need to be nervous, the ship is very nice, and the odor is limited to certain areas in the corridor on decks 2 and 3. We had no problems with the temperature in our cabin, and the common areas were definitely not hot. Some areas were extremely cold.

Yes, certain areas on decks 2 and 3 reeked of sewer gas throughout the voyage.

We are currently on board. There are no packets on tables, but sweet & low and Splenda packets are available in Explorations Cafe on the coffee bar. Splenda is available upon request in Pinnacle Grill, but not stevia. The food so far has not been very good, not at all like previous cruises (this is our first cruise since COVID), with two exceptions: French onion soup in MDR and filet in Pinnacle - both of those were outstanding.

Good afternoon, We will be boarding Eurodam October 28th. Does anyone know what artificial sweeteners they have on board? Stevia? Splenda? Or do we need to bring our own?

We always stay at the Hotel Ambassade (Herengracht 341), and love it so much that we don't even consider other alternatives. Charming, in historic canal houses, with rooms overlooking the canal.

I have seen motion sickness warnings for all of the ship's excursions, and I see a reference to the "bus ride from hell" above. I have problems with motion sickness but don't want to miss seeing what I hear is a beautiful island. For those who have done both, do you feel that speedboat would be a better or worse choice for someone prone to motion sickness?
