  1. You know, now that you say that, I have always clicked on the "saved traveler" (or similar) box, which would just bring up her full name, gender, and birth date. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that probably has something to do with it. 😆
  2. If you're worried about noise, the elevators are rarely an issue. It is what's directly below you on deck 6 that you should be most concerned with.
  3. I've never had a PCC, but every CSS I've worked with has been unexpectedly sharp and knowledgeable. I've only taken advantage of price drops before final payment date, and before I make my final payment. I always have the CSS read back to me all the promo codes on the change and match them to my current ones. If they are the same or better, great. If I'm losing something, I have to decide if the price drop is worth it.
  4. This used to happen to my wife every.single.time. The easy fix was to just have her log in to her NCL app (which has the correct number) and "add cruise" immediately after I booked it. NCL recently sent her an email indicating that she had numerous latitudes numbers and that they were merging them all to the correct one. We'll see what happens next time.
  5. This. I make sure the 3rd party insurance has generous medical and evac, then use my credit card with generous trip cancellation and interruption coverage. Not that we've ever had to use it, but it is a comfort.
  6. Ok, cool. I just found it interesting because in one case, NCL just changes the fare, but in the other case they have to actually give money back.

  8. This is an interesting scenario. Please let us know how NCL handles it when you call them. As a number of others have said, there is no overpayment.
  9. That's weird. Their confirmation is the same as ours, and we have ours booked 6:45 each night. I do recall finding the MTD booking spot not where I expected it. I'll go back and see what I can find.
  10. He's not waitlisted. There is nothing in the parenthesis. He should have separate confirmations for the days he's booked MTD. MTD needs to be specifically booked for each day they plan to eat in the MDR. If it's too late to book the times he wants, then just show up and hope for a quick seat.
  11. This is important. Your confirmation should be: Dining (Waitlist): MY TIME() Nothing in the parenthesis.
  12. When I go to the entertainment tab on "plan my cruise", it tells me they are still working on it and to check back later. Is yours actually saying they are sold out (full)?
  13. We're sailing August 4, and I check every day. Yeah, I'm OCD for sure. 😄 I have to assume reservations will open before August 1.
