20and counting

My lovely daughter has booked and paid for a balcony cabin on Arvia for our anniversary. We have always paid for Select and chosen our cabin but she paid the saver price so we don't yet know the number. We are truly grateful for her generosity and will make the best of whatever cabin we find ourselves in, but I have to admit that I'm secretly hoping we might get lucky and not end up with a conservatory balcony as I love looking straight onto the sea and don't like the idea of the lack of privacy.

Hi, we are going to be visiting Malaga for the first time on a cruise. We've book some excursions in other porta and wondering whether we need to do the same in Malaga. Can anyone please tell me how far the centre is from the port? Is it in walking distance or better by shuttle/taxi? Any advice on what to do once we are in the centre or would we, in fact, be better booking an excursion? Thanks

Absolutely! Beats me why people who criticise a cruise line continue to book withy them. We love Celebrity but cannot afford too many cruises with them. We know P&O will not be 'good enough' if not quite to the Celebrity standard and accept that. For the price we pay, we are satisfied

Its certainly been enforced on the P&O ships I've been on so far (Ventura, Azura, Arcadia). Personally I think it is quite disrespectful to go into a restaurant on formal night in casual wear. Many people do not have an opportunity to dress formally very often so it spoils the occasion if others are not similarly attired. I've no axe to grind with those who don't enjoy dressing formally - each to their own - but there are other places to eat if someone does not wish to conform.
