  1. We had trouble with this too but it is on the app. Here is some help we received on our roll call. Post #385 if this doesn't go directly to it:
  2. Capacity of the theater is 990 according to this: https://www.celebritycorporatekit.com/fleet/celebrity-beyond/ Beyond Passenger capacity is 3260
  3. Thanks for the reminder @1Virgo about chic night reserved seating. I was asking @bjahil47 about shows on the other nights. We're trying to plan and wondering if one show is more popular than the other (early 7:30 vs late 9:30)
  4. Early show 7:30 or late show 9:30? Thanks in advance!
  5. Did you sit in the retreat reserved seating? We're concerned about getting theater seats, especially on chic nights. Thanks again for sharing. We hope your butler experience improves.
  6. Thank you for sharing @mtempelaar Enjoy your cruise! We'll be following along as we sail April 12th and it will be good to have realistic expectations. We plan to try the MDRs also and hopefully Blu. Do we need to let Luminae know which nights we will be elsewhere?
  7. Thank you for this explanation. It seems like Celebrity is breeding confusion in so many areas. We sail in 2 weeks and are so excited but glad that we have researched and "studied up" beforehand.
  8. Thanks for this! We want to roam around too but had decided we might skip Normandie. We'll reconsider!
  9. Respectfully, may I ask, why is this necessary?
  10. I have read on other CC threads that on Edge class ship Lumnae you can't order from the MDR menus.
  11. Thank you to all. This has been an interesting read. We've been researching MSC YC and we sail on Beyond in 17 days in a Sky suite. It looks like the sundeck bar has seating - maybe that's meant to be a gathering spot? I sort of think of the lounge as a quiet getaway spot. I counted 9 bars on Beyond - lots of places to go for the action!
  12. We've been researching this too and believe that the "Exclusive Entrees" are offered every night but only at that particular dining room. (Example: Cypriot Short Ribs are offered every night at Cyprus, Oxtail every night at Cosmopolitan). Then there is a set of "Entrees" that are different every day but offered at all 4 dining rooms. Then there's also the salmon, chicken, steak options that you mentioned so it's a Rubik's cube of menus! Really enjoying this thread! Thanks to the OP for sharing!
  13. Ditto thank you to @mac_tlc, this has definitely been informative and fun😃! And to @cruisefam38 hello from 45 minutes east on I40 in Graham!! Looks like we'll be on your itinerary on Beyond, but on April 12 (3 weeks after you). And it looks like BOTH our cruises are 100% sold out. Hope you guys have a great trip, and we hope everyone else on this Live thread have great future cruises!!
  14. @MaryBethV Enjoying this so much!! Thank you! We booked March 2025 Panama Sunfarer on Rotterdam yesterday! Are you a scrapbooker? Great storytelling!
  15. Welcome home! Looking forward to following along. We are novice cruisers booked on Celebrity Beyond in April and Cunard QM2 in Aug/Sept and just started considering HAL Rotterdam for March 2025 yesterday. Thanks in advance for sharing!
  16. We asked about this on our April 12 roll call and got good feedback about Palm garage parking. Planning to arrive around 10am and our research shows that we shouldn't have a problem. Our back-up plan is to park at the airport garage and get transport back to the port. There are several park and go options away from the port but we wanted garage parking instead of a surface lot.
  17. This is so disheartening to read but thank you for weighing in. At least we know what to expect and hopefully I can get my "hair on fire" feelings behind me now. I have seen posts about chair hog enforcement on Apex. I wonder why it's not happening on Beyond?
  18. I need CC to add a shocked emoji. Our last cruise was in 2019 and everyone was so well mannered. We've probably been social distancing too much over the last 4 years and missed out on how much the world has changed. sigh....
  19. Agree. We are novice cruisers and are kinda shocked to read about chair hogs. I did a google search and see that it's a hot topic across the board, not just on Celebrity. Wondering if it happens in other areas of the ship, like the buffet? And I'm just really hoping that the Retreat sundeck will be a lovely, easy and relaxing experience.
  20. I am so curious about this. Surely that can't be "legal" but why hasn't it been addressed by the crew? If I see anything like this on our cruise my hair will be on fire and I'll be off to guest services for a fire extinguisher.
  21. Will they stock the frig with water? When we booked, it said "water on embarkation day"
  22. Adding to packing list - big bag for fetching. They must have a dedicated person constantly refilling the retreat lounge refrigerator...just seems ridiculous.... Sorry to read about your 45th anniversary cruise experience a few months ago. This is will be our first time on Celebrity and hopefully not our last.
  23. Good luck. This is one of the big reasons we booked retreat. How is chair availability on the retreat deck?
  24. Yes, that is it! It's as if Celebrity wanted to completely eliminate butlers but knew that would be too radical so they labeled it "butler team" and shifted the "fetching" to guests. Thank you for your live thread. We are novice cruisers booked on Beyond sky suite in April and finding your posts extremely helpful.
