Does Carnival still do Luggage Express? I cant find it on website.

Last cruise in 2020 we didn't do self assist, but didn't worry too much about timeslot. We went to MDR for breakfast, and by the time bkft was done, most slots had been called.

Actually, comparatively, steakhouse is pretty reasonable. Good steakhouses on land cost as much or more.

It's only $2/day. I won't Skype, but might watch YouTube or other. Would suck to not be able to do something you want cuz you skipped on $2.

Looks pretty good, only active while at sea, so watch international charge issues. Just looked at Verizon's cruise plan and it's a joke. $30/day for a .5 data cap. Might as well go for premium wifi thru Carnival.

So I haven't tried it on a cruise, but just tested Bluetooth tethering, and was able to share my tablet's wifi connection with my phone. Signal on a cruise ship is spotter, but I HATE having to log into new device every time I need to use other device. Will play with it on Oct cruise.

I wonder if you can grab toppings from other areas of buffet and hand it to them asking that they put it in the omelet.

Thanks for the topic. I had forgotten this was a thing, went out and bought 100 shares each of CCL & RCL. The next day JD Power came out with RCL as bestin class, my stock jumped 1K in a day. 🙂

If you leave the ship without approval, I belive you are in the country illegally. In a country with a reputation for corruption in law enforcement, and carrying a reputation as an arrogant, self-serving American. Good luck wth that, imo not worth the risk.

While I'm sure, based on previous experience, I could bring my own distilled water, (I hate plastic waste so got my own distiller), realistically it makes no sense to fly with that added weight. Could get at store in NY before I cruise, but at that point would be saving about $2.00, certainly not worth the hassle for that savings if I'm not reducing plastic use.

I'm fairly sure, based on several of your remarks, that you don't work as an author. You should really consider it if you are looking for a second career. You are an engaging and often hillarious writer and I thoroughly enjoyed your review. I'm sailing on the Venezia in Oct, so got a lot of food for thought from your review. Also, fairly sure we are similar age, because I loved the schoolhouse rock (I still remember the songs) and Gargamel references. Keep the writing coming!

I more sad about not having toppings for omelets. Ham and cheese is booring. Lets add salsa, broccoli, spinach and onions please.

I would hope that they have nearby amenities and beaches BEFORE they start docking there. If not they are going to take a significant hit with customer satisfaction.

True, I belive that Royal had carts from the pier when I went to their private island in '20.

That kindof sucks. I can't eat most of the sides so I generally order 3. Are they still inflexible about substitutions?

Lat cruise on Royal I took an extention cord, but I accepted ahead of time it might get taken, no issues. I do remember table after table of power strips waiting to be claimed upon completion though.

There are likely cards out there with better rewards, but I just spent my points to pay off my cruise for the second time. Acts as a nice little savings account for cruises. I also have a Delta Amex, so flying first class free to my free cruise.

For a machine that costs $1,000, I think I'll err on the side of caution and pay 4 bucks.

Do the number of dress up days vary by cruise length? Going on 10 day cruise and was only planning on one.

I wouldnt take the risk of them not having one. Already bought one for upcoming cruise, as well as magnetic hooks to run it across the ceiling rather than worry about tripping over it (saw suggestion on a board). It's got 3 plugs on it so I'll also be able to read my tablet in bed while charging. Even if you don't have CPAP I'd suggest taking an extension cord.

I finally saw it available today and bought it. After seeing your post, I went back and checked, sure enough, 60 days till cruise.

When I booked the cruise, I added Faster to the Fun to my cart, but didn't notice it wasn't there the next day when I paid. When I went back later I realized it wasn't there, and it was sold out. Been checking several times a day since then, and finally this morning was able to add. YEAH!!! Bring on Oct 4th!
